I know the FA are keen to flog Wembley to death but surely moving the semi to Old Trafford/Anfield would mean the game could be shown at 5:30 which means more views and broadcasting revenue (plus they get the gate receipts).
You think it being at Wembley stops them from doing that???

Our game should be played at Old Trafford or Villa Park
Wembley is located in a complete toilet with an infrastructure inferior to Mogadishu.
The return journey travel time by coach is around 6 hours.
Unlikely you'd get a train if ko is at teatime.
Seen us in 1 cup semi at old Wembley and 1 at new along with 3 PO finals and the results were less hurtfull than the journeys. Cardiff was an easier trek v Wolves as was Old Trafford v Arse and Newcastle.
At least when we lost the 2 legged PO game at The Lane against Bristol City it only took 30 mins to get home. Carl $%%^&(^&£" Shutt!!!!!
Agree but it is Wembley. First time I can go with my sons and Grandson (6). Couldn’t care less about result. It’s a weekend out with my boys, heart will be bursting out of my chest

Splitmyfare.co.uk is also a good site. It does all of that for you.
You do have to sometimes move seats/carriages on the same train though at certain stops
Splitsave via Trainline does the same and easier. I know after a cancelled flight yesterday, then rebooked today at 08:00 that finally flew at 11:10hrs this morning. All to get to Manchester Airport then onward to Sheffield via Piccadilly. 7.5hrs waiting in 2 days.....I booked cheap Splitsave twice, non refundable so I ended up paying the same as an any time day single lol. Fog is what caused my issue.
As a side note, ticket machines at the airport offer destination of Man Piccadilly..
Paid £4.60 on the Blackpool North Line to Piccadilly. On the train, guard checks ticket and says this is TPE only but this train Northern so should be £100.00 fine, however based on what you've told me crack on. Man Airport is a TPE station. I'll know next time but they should be clear on the machines. I purchased, stuck in back pocket then produced on the train as never thought to peruse the ticket FFS!

They caved last year and moved it so fans could get back after.

With two clubs from the north playing who have a mainly local fan base stopping a large number using the rail network will mean big empty spaces in the ground. I guess they cottoned on to this.

They caved because of a rail strike and no EFL blackout.

Neither of these scenarios are currently in play.

It will almost certainly be a 5:15 KO IMO

I can’t believe some people are actually saying they aren’t going because they’re sick of seeing us lose there.

We might get a pasting but could you imagine the day we finally get a result there, and it will happen one day, and you aren’t there because your confidence has taken too much of a knock from previous occasions? I’ve heard of some excuses not to go to games before but that’s brilliant. 🤦‍♂️😂😂

If you are booking train back to Donny have a look at booking to Retford.
We looked to book for 6 adults £576 to Donny and £144 to Retford .
Then it's only a fiver Donny return.
Saving over £400 😲
They’ll be on strike that day

think your spot on there this game with city is so different to every other game weve lost at wembley we had a good chance of winning all the others but 95% chance of losing this one its a complete free hit and will just be a fantastic day out i think the financial side of things is more likely to stop fans from buying tickets not easy in this day and age

Too close for the 8:30 coming back? 10:00 seems like safe option…

Didn’t realise about the rail strike.

What was the deal with the blackout then? I thought they got special dispensation to play it during the blackout…….would that not apply again?

Don't worry mate there will be thousands unsold. I go home and away and enjoy it but won't be wasting £100/£200 going to watch us get stuffed. Said after the last usual disappointment at Wembley I would never go again and meant it.
Lots of fans like me.
You are a bundle of sunshine, loving your happy go lucky view on life.
