It's more or less ungovernable. Trying to tell people to not do something that has happened since God was a lad, that happens everywhere else, is always going to be unworkable. It's like telling people not to drop litter. Most people wont but check any field after a picnic or a music festival...

You'd assume that if people would just stay out of the aisle it'd be fine. But no, Cunts 'r' Us are still out in force
Yeah surely it’s hard to determine who’s seat is who’s once everyone is sat down unless like you say it’s very noticeable.

There'll be a scramble for Spurs tickets. I presume we'll have to give them the full BL end. The Wesfield corner might be shut and the end of the Kop obviously not put on sale.

Fucks sake I presume they are doing nothing on the Newcastle thing until they’ve “sorted” this utter bollocks.
The only thing I've seen regards this is that early investigations suggest Wednesday did nothing wrong. Sufficient amount of stewards being one factor. Some gobshite Wednesday bastard posted it on twitter getting clever. It's not about whether someone was injured or not, it's about concerns for safety. If there are concerns for safety made by numerous people it needs investigating. Blaming it on Newcastle losing, like many have done, is quite pathetic.

The ticket checks they did previously were a complete waste of time.
All they were doing is checking what entrance / vertical gangway you were using.

The problem is the back few rows on the kop.
Just check people have tickets for the row they are entering.

Are you talking about standing, or going 3 to a seat??

Pretty sure this happens to a greater or lesser extent at every ground in the league (and non league like the massives of Wrexham), every week.

Even in this city - your not telling me that pigs never ever have people standing where they shouldn’t during a match.

So why the scapegoating of United? It’s more than punitive. It’s political victimisation and it stinks.

To be fair, none of the Pigs stands have been full since the 90's so it's never a problem

Good old SAG … two clubs away followings a raise issues about the oinks Leppings Lane to the EFL end and yet unsurprisingly.. and fuck all from SAG .
Don’t forget anyone attending a match on the Kop to sit quiet , cross your arms , don’t raise your voice & we’ll be happy to let you back in 👍

Thanks for the update Foxy. It's disappointing that the council already seem to have reached an outcome on this, all whilst turning a blind eye to anything that happens at Hillsborough.

I have no doubt that we will have to play out the remainder of the season with swathes of empty seats in the Kop - just when, more than ever, the team could really do with a full and noisy bank of supporters behind that goal to help push us over the line. I wonder what Hecky thinks about this farce.

In addition to Sheffield City Council being completely unfit for purpose - peopled as it is with uneducated and unskilled village idiots - another problem is the current absence of any leadership at the club to meet this meddling head-on.

Can anyone imagine Chansiri standing for this nonsense, or indeed any leadership at any other football club?

Not that this would happen at any other ground, of course. Look at Forest, for instance, where there have been half a dozen serious crowd disorder incidents in the past 6 months, but not even a suggestion of anything being done at the ground. Meanwhile, we have a situation where there is no evidence whatsoever of even the remotest semblance of a health and safety issue having arisen, yet we have imposed utterly pointless measures which can in no way prove the negative that SCC seem to want proving.

Utterly cretinous.

Our only hope of getting the Kop fully open again now is to fall over the line and secure promotion. The Premier League and Sky TV brands trump the pygmies of parochial councils and will ensure that our capacity is back up to 32,600.

I appreciate that gets an easy laugh, but in seriousness, the stands don’t have to be full for people to not be arsed to go and sit in their allotted seats.

I have no doubt that it’s exactly the same there, even if it involves fewer people.

They don’t need to be told they do it anyway😳

  • Find someone standing in gangway/crowded area
  • Ask to see season ticket
  • If it is not their seat, ask them to move
  • If they don't, ask them again or else dibbles will eject them
  • If they're still fucking stupid, have dibbles eject them

That's quite easily governable.

Yet it clearly hasn't worked.
