Based on his caps so far for Senegal it would seem to me he is a bench player at present.
So he might get a sub app or two and of course if he manages to impress might be better.
In terms of our concern about his future here, his trajectory is upwards. We need to be going with it too as in promotion this season.
It's positive we are still up there and could be back in top 2 at the weekend and it needs to be that way in Jan too.
There will no doubt be interest in Jan. It concerns me that N'Diaye wants to wait till then before discussing contract (PH interview yesterday)
This suggests that he wants to keep his options open (Fair enough) but also means he's open to it sooner rather than later (Perhaps).
What's his value or what's his value to us as a club?
For me he will probably end up being higher than this in the future but for the position the club is in right now £20-25m plus addons? Maybe a bit more?
People will say it's not enough but how many leave at Champ level for these fees?
As I say in the future he could be worth alot more. For instance let's say he moved to a top tier club and carried on performing his value could easily double very quickly.
But that's the nature of what level a player is performing at etc. (We've just had similar with Anel, signed him for £3-4m and he's worth alot more than that now.)
I'm not sure we would be able to replace to be honest, it would probably be a situation of signing a good striker to replace him but you won't get the skills he possesses back into the team. He's a unique player.
