The list is getting smaller with the returning Anel, Baldock and Robinson. Hopefully Fleck on the bench Wednesday aswell. But then Jebbison is now injured, FFS never ends.

O'Connell
Clark
Bogle
Stevens
Lowe
Coulibaly
Jebbison

Don't forget Berge.

Most of that list not going to be back til after the WC as well. 🤦‍♂️

Clark or Stevens you would hope.

It's odd that we don't even hear about them anymore. I think PH's prickly attitude to injury-based questioning might've out the journalists off asking about the longer-termers.

Ciaran Clark returning and staying fit could be the difference maker to our season. I was really impressed by him when we beat Millwall earlier in the season.

Can we recall Osula ? I think might have too

Sadly, I think we might have to.
We're only one more injury away from him being on the bench. We've seen that Sharp, Brewster and McBurnie are prone to injuries too.

Is there an additional transfer window because of the WC? If not, he’s at Derby until the end of December.

Updated guesses (big emphasis) following the latest media round.

In good news, Baldock & Ahmedhodzic returned to action and Jack Robinson made the bench. In further good news,
it sounds like Fleck will be available by at least this weekend as he's back in full training.

Clark & Stevens to follow, but they're not training yet so I would assume they're still not going to be available until November time.

Foderingham picked up a straight red card and a 3-game-ban.
Worth noting that Norwood & Ahmedhodzic are on 4 yellow cards so are one card away from a suspension.

W Foderingham - November - suspended for 3 games

J Fleck - mid-October 2022 (2 months) - broken leg

C Clark - November 2022 (3 months) - hamstring

E Stevens - November 2022 (3 months) - hamstring

S Berge - December 2022 (2 months) - ankle ligament

J Bogle - January 2023 (3 months) - knee

M Lowe - January 2023 (4 months) - hamstring

I Coulibaly - January 2023 (5 months) - knee ligaments

J O'Connell - unlikely to return.

I think you saying JOC is unlikely to return, is a bit presumptuous. Serious injury, long lay off, rehab issues?
Maybe I’m just being too optimistic? I would have him back tomorrow, match fitness permitting. 😊

All gone quiet on the JOC front again which is a worry. Although he was on SUTV again the other week.

Our BUPA Policy monthly payments are gonna rocket next season. Can see Hecky on gocompare.com for hours when it’s renewal day.

Following the latest media round ahead of Norwich City's visit, here is the current list of unavailable players with return date guesses....

Good news, John Fleck's back and made an appearance off the bench. Jack Robinson was an unused substitute again so is presumably close to a return... he will need to be because, as is often the case, he will be replacing an injured player (RND) in our squad. The number rarely drops.

Bad news, as per the above, Norrington-Davies picked up a nasty looking hamstring injury early into the game on Wednesday night. Suspect he'll be out for a while as it didn't look good as he was stretchered off.
Oh, and Daniel Jebbison has also damaged some ligaments during training in a further blow to his career development.
Unless I missed it, no updates were provided (or requested) on Clark, Stevens, Bogle, Berge, Lowe etc...

The run of "bad luck" continues then...

S Berge - January 2023 (3 months) - ankle ligament

J Bogle - January 2023 (3 months) - knee operation

M Lowe - January 2023 (4 months) - hamstring

D Jebbison - January 2023 (3 months) - ligaments (?)

I Coulibaly - January 2023 (5 months) - knee ligaments

R Norrington-Davies - February 2023 (3-4 months) - hamstring

J O'Connell - unlikely to return

Bogle and Berge should be December after WC. 👀😅

Every club has injuries.I don't know how these clubs that have much smaller squads than we do, manage to cope but they do.

I said earlier on this thread they can't afford injuries so they prioritise player fitness. We used to do it ourselves but it seems to have gone off the rails the last 2 years.
