I would guess between 14 and 25/30 years old.
Can they not see that the management team are doing their utmost in extraordinary circumstances? All you hear is moan moan moan, blaming everything from Hecky down to the Physios and kit washers.
I would guess that these "fans" are rather immature and can't cope with losing a couple of games and are unable to see the bigger picture.
Get behind the Club, Hecky and the lads. When all our players are fit we are better than anything in this division, so put a sock in it and give the management a bit of a break.

Someone noted last week, if we can still be in the top 6 come the World Cup we will be in a great position . Echo that. Let's not panic , ride this injury curse out and regroup. This league is going to be a tight one.

Online that's probably the accurate age group.

But in the flesh it's usually cunts "of a certain age" who think that seeing Woodward and Currie a few times in the 70's gives them carte blanche to spout a constant stream of negative bollocks to all and sundry within earshot.

My guess is it's not got that much to do with age in years. You can be weak, cowardly, neurotic, pathetic, indulged and self-indulgent (for a start), and have a desire to spread this misery to everyone else, at any age.

More generally, despite eternal moans about "the youth of today" if you take a clipboard into the wild and gather data on Age (in years) and Twattishness (on a scale of -1 to -10) there's plenty of people of all ages who are anti-social.

So when is that going to be?

I think the likes you got for this post tells a story.
A big majority of Blades are behind Hecki! Just a few nieve fans are seemingly against him and they seem to be the ones who have most to say.
It's remarkable we are still up there with the amount of injuries we have and have add all season.
Well done hecki ! I don't think we could get a better manager at this time.

Could you be guilty of an absurd generalisation ?

What about those who saw Woodward and Currie, Brown and Tonge, Edwards and a host of ballers who supplied him, Agana and Deane even Sharp and Leon? Some even saw Joe and Graham Shaw in the same team. Are they not allowed to opine on their perspective? Like it of not, right through those periods, we played some decent football. Yesterday we didn't play decent football at all. We struggled against a struggling team, gave away a 2-0 lead to be trailing 2-3 and struggled to salvage a face saving draw, at home, against nine men.

If that isn't perspective and context, I don't know what is.

I don't disagree with a word of that, and believe me, I was among the many who were making their displeasure known yesterday, we were unequivocally shite.

The original point I was making was that, whilst the worst kind of knee-jerky, toys-out-of-the-pram exponents of bed-shittery are indeed online and very young, the most vocally miserable bastards in the actual ground are folk of more advanced years, whether we're 0-2 down or 4-0 up seemingly makes no odds.

My dearly departed dad was of that ilk. I miss him every day, but he was fucking insufferable when it came to discussing United. He acted as if he had a kind of "secret knowledge" when it came to discerning what makes a good Sheffield United team, always invoking the great names of bygone eras, who should be honoured of course, but it doesn't necessarily pertain to our current situation.
I hear his exact words coming out of the mouths of many other blokes of his generation every home match.

To be fair Norwood played 85,000 floaty … sideway passes to our full backs (who can’t cross)… so at least he will lauded as the best midfielder in the league based in pass completion stats.

Mate, I struggle, still, to see what novelty people see in Oliver Norwood. I tend to get entertained and excited by goals and wins, others get all pre-cum when he knocks balls out wide to marked wingbacks without any support. If we won games on that, fair point, but Norwood ain Kante, De Breyne or even Trevor Hockey. And despite his great free kick early in the season and yesterdays goal, the number of times we have seen this supposedly gifted baller have people in the crowd behind the goal catch the ball rather than the goalkeeper on the opposite side is notable as a fucking statistic too.
