Of course get behind the team, we all do that. But just be realistic that we're not as good as you make us out to be. Be realistic that we're not in the PL anymore. Be realistic that the PL won't come for a fair few years. Be realistic that regardless who's playing, United will still bottle it on the big occasion.

I can't believe some people on here. It's meant to be a forum about the blades for blades fans (which I am) yet you get jumped on your saying how you feel about the club. Maybe if you don't like the truth, maybe you could save yourself the trouble and don't bother posting. It's obvious you can give it but can't take it. A shame really. I thought blade fans where more grounded and realistic. Maybe the pig's disillusion that they are a massive are rubbing off on a few of you esp judge and toronto.

The truth? How do you know what the truth is? We still have at least 2 and possibly 3 games to play. The past has no bearing on the future. We don't always bottle it. We have won many great games as underdogs.
Whatever happens from hereon in I have really enjoyed this season. I have had some great, almost old fashioned type, away days. Great friendly banter with opposition supporters. We have played some great stuff, scored more goals than in any season for a long time, and win or lose in the play offs I am already looking forwad to August.
This season has been what football is all about to me. Promotion or no promotion the season will not be spoilt.
I have renewed my season ticket and if next season is as much fun as this I really don't care which division we're playing in. Winning is not the be all and end all to me. (althought it does help when we win
)

That's because everyone reads the negative one and not the positive ones. I've made a few positive comments such as United would be better staying in league 1 and rebuiding from there than going up and spending another season fighting relegation.

we didnt get automatic promotion, but considering after last may almost all blades believed we would be fortunate to avoid another relegation and at best we would be mid table when the reality is, barring the whole ched stuff AND 2 or 3 very important matches we lost our entire back four plus our most influencial midfielder we would have almost certainly took 2nd place, the reality is we are in 3rd place and ask any bookie we are STILL favourites to gain promotion thru the play offs, but even if that fails to happen, we have seen what i believe is a transformation of our club virging on the miraculous, we spank inform teams, we beat others well, even when we've lost mostly its been good football to watch, i personally cant think of one game where we couldn't have won the game, clapper i may be but this team (on the whole) have given me back something i havn't had from a blades team for a number of years, pride and belief and i honestly believe anyone looking only for negatives based on previous seasons, should think again, as the saying goes the past is gone, the future yet to be written, only the NOW counts and it is a gift thats why its called the present, dont look back and brand this team with the others, sure im disappointed with the way we let advantages slip but that doesnt mean we won't surprise a few people in these playoffs, maybe even a few blades fans
have a little faith people, the biggest realism is we are still in with a shout of promotion, dont lets be the fans others look at and say they just gave up, give it everything players and fans alike and finally put this bollox of "we never win in playoffs" mentality to bed.

len was asked if he'd renewed his season ticket despite saying that he wouldn't. He couldn't manage a yes or no answer, or indeed any other, despite having several opportunities. He also questioned the motives and integrity of the owners of this site, who had enough of paying for lenners to abuse them.

A pair of arseholes, and only missed by a few people. If you miss them that much, pay for a site for them.
