After the dire performance from our "midfield" players last night , this guy needs to be given a chance. Only seen him in pre season games but he looks to be a better bet than that drivel. Give the lad a go.

I think while accepting we were pretty dire we’re not going to be up against the quality of that front three every week. Dennis and Sarr are PL quality and Joao Pedro not far behind. Defensively they were solid enough but didn’t look special. Lose some of those before the end of the window and they’ll need to work hard to replace that sort of quality.Talking to my Watford supporting mate this morning, he admitted if we had a midfield we would have done them
The consensus with Watford fans is if they loose sarr and Dennis it's going to be a long season
No.Wasn't everyone saying this about Zak Brunt last season?
And if we carry on playing fleck it won’t do us any goodWasn't everyone saying this about Zak Brunt last season? He's on loan in the National League now.
I get that Fleck and Norwood were shit last night, but throwing this lad in and him having a few iffy games with our fanbase won't do him any good.
So because Brunt is, Arblaster will too?Wasn't everyone saying this about Zak Brunt last season? He's on loan in the National League now.

We’ll never know if he is going to have an iffy few games, if we never play him. We do know that Fleck has been having iffy games since July 2020.
The manager sees him every day in training. So because Brunt is, Arblaster will too?

I agree, I just don't think pinning hopes on a young kid with no league experience and someone who has just returned from Belgium having been a bit part player in a relegation team is the answer. We need another midfielder. And if we carry on playing fleck it won’t do us any good
Happy to give him a go, just don't get too upset if he's not a world beater. I know what our fans are like and we could destroy a young kid if he doesn't play like prime Ronaldo from minute 1 of game 1.So because Brunt is, Arblaster will too?

Correct, it was the season before:
Yeah definitely. To be honest I can’t really recall there being any big backlash or upset about young players, who haven’t lived up to it. I think people are more patient and less quick to jump on them than if it was someone experienced who we had signed.Happy to give him a go, just don't get too upset if he's not a world beater. George Long comes to mind for me.Yeah definitely. To be honest I can’t really recall there being any big backlash or upset about young players, who haven’t lived up to it. I think people are more patient and less quick to jump on them than if it was someone experienced who we had signed.
I’ll give you that one!George Long comes to mind for me.
Not particularly but will happily take the ball in tight situations to find half a yard for a pass. He certainly moves the ball well but more through pass & move than dribbling. Not seen him, is he a ball carrier?
