Uefa Women's Euro 2022 at Bramall Lane

However, attendance quoted is for actual tickets sold rather than number passing through the turnstiles/UEFA pre scanning to validate admission.
But, will be interesting to see when the cameras pan round the stadium.
Hopefully someone on here may suddenly offer ticket (s) but then luck of the draw if you are online and able to obtain.
I think the same applies to games here so all attendance figures given out are for tickets sold not those actually there

Am I right in thinking that they'll be 2 Blades playing for England Ladies tonight?
Millie Bright and Ellie Roebuck
Mille Bright, Ellie Roebuck and Beth England all started out playing for Sheffield United ladies. Only Bright is likely to start tonight. Ellie Roebuck is definitely a Blade and season ticket holder from Beighton. Millie Bright is originally from Killamarsh an area with its fair share of dark side supporters so likely to be of the blue and white persuasion. Beth England is from Barnsley.

Other SUFC connections are Alex Greenwood who is JOC's partner and has done well coming on as substitute. Also the goalkeeping coach is Darren Ward who was our coach for 5 years under CW.

There’s a very nice interview with Ellie Roebuck on the club website. A lifelong Blade.

Anyone know if the closed areas - BL Upper, Westfield and Kop corner - will be open tonight?

No, but on BBC News sports this morning from Bramall Lane live presenter said England playing in front of a 320000 crowd tonight. Wish they'd get the facts right!

Are Matilda St/Shoreham St (Radio Sheffield bit) closed later? Hope not as I need to go that way to get home after work!

Given the demand for tickets, it makes little sense to close a quarter of the stadium. They can't use crowd safety as an excuse.

Would never happen to our massive cousins in S6.

They could house them on the BL Upper.

Actually BL's press facilities are very good after the PL upgrade. But, like most UK club grounds, they are set up to accomodate local journos from two cities and the occasional national when they can be bothered covering a game.

They are struggling to see past the end of their noses with comments about the size of our stadium and MK for the semis

Yes, England probably could have sold out a much bigger stadium in the semi final however, 1. There are 2 semi finals and the other match up would likely struggle to fill a bigger stadium, and 2. You can never guarantee they will even get there, and to suggest they change stadiums a week beforehand when people have had tickets 1 year+ in advance for this game just because England are playing in it is absolutely ridiculous

Seat too small for her ass to fit on. They just didn’t like saying.

Yeh that's all I could find but that's an old article. There appears to be a sign at the bottom of Matilda St ready to go out that asks drivers to find an alternate route though.

EDIT - Ah, they've updated it. No mention of Matilda St though
Buses seem to be going down there
