He said he enjoyed living in Sheffield and was settled here. Must have been lying, although Limeys was still open back then.

Remember seeing him and Kabba in the Kingdom nightclub one night and they were both really quality blokes. Happy to chat and no obnoxiousness about them what so ever… both really sound guys.

I remember his first game for us in a pre season friendly at Worksop town, a lad I know was at left back for Worksop and Ifill hardly got a kick of the ball all the time he was on.

My favourite Paul Ifill memory is that great comeback away at Watford. My mate and I had been watching the warm-up and we noticed how bad Ifill's shooting was on his left foot.

Cue an hour or so later, I think we'd pulled it back to 2-1 at this point, and Ifill cuts inside from the wing. My mate shouts "not on your left!" just as he hits a screamer into the top corner.
