First thought when I heard it was that he's bound to score a crucial goal against us.

My first thought was that there was only one winner in that sale to Blackburn.
Danny obviously thought Ched was a better option to keep and 1 million for Slew enabled us to keep Ched.
Pigs were strongly linked with him last week
That's a wonderful sounding theory but the truth is we didn't receive any offers for Ched in the Summer.
Possibly because he was injured, out of form, facing a court case/jail and on wages most clubs (including us) can't afford.
If we had received any offers, no doubt he would have been sold regardless of what Danny wanted to do.
Danny didn't want to sell Slew but the player/his agent wanted him to leave and United didn't try to keep him.
If we had kept him I dare say he would have contributed more than Porter and Beattie have. Certainly a different kind of option to those two.
Only time will tell if United were the only winner in the deal. 19 is a bit too young to be writing him off, don't you think?
Good luck to the lad i say. Just hope he doesnt score against us.
So far in his Stevenage career he's played 3 and scored none.
in his most recent match on Tuesday night he was subbed after 62 minutes.
Not a promising start.
So far, it looks like his agent, Mark Rankine, gave him bad advice last Summer
The only place he will do well would be Millwall with Uncle Darius alongside him , just like Kilgallon cant hack it without Morgs holding his hand.
Not really. Surely the advice of an agent is to get more money for the player and for him to be playing in the PL. In that sense advice by Rankine was good.

Lets see if Slew will have a long and successful career. I think Rankine showed Slew the wrong path by going for big wages
He could be the next Carlton cole
Or maybe hes just not good enough.
