Gone Elsewhere Dean Henderson

That possibly explains the reduced fee in that Man U will be paying part of his contract

Despite not really pushing de Gea for the #1 shirt at Man Utd last season and making the odd clanger when he did get a chance, surely he should be looking for a better opportunity than a loan to buy deal with Forest - there's a fair chance he'll be back at Man Utd and looking for another move this time next season if Forest struggle as much as some think they will (myself included) and they go down. I'm amazed Newcastle aren't in for him given Dubravka injury problems last season and Darlow being their back-up option.

If they loaned him they couldn't sign Garner on loan anymore. So that would be two of their 5 loans out the window with Spence expected elsewhere.

Plus Hendo is replacing one of the few players they actually owned.

It would also mean to replace the 5 outgoing loan players they'd just have one loan left.

Though I see they are linked with a 10m rated Canadian winger on a Bosman.
It seems there's a loophole where the loan doesn't count towards the number allowed if it includes an obligation to buy.

Isn’t Samba about to leave ?
Yes it looks like it, but my point is that Forest may be able to sign Garner and Henderson from MUFC provided Henderson's loan agreement (or Garner's for that matter) has an obligation to buy included, despite the "max 1 loan from another PL club" rule.

He'll certainly be kept busy if he goes there next season with the world's slowest back 3 in front of him.

Remember the world cup is in December. Maybe the best way to get picked is by being very busy for a few months?

It's a weird rule which doesn't make a lot of sense. You'd think Henderson wouldn't be that keen on it as there's a strong chance they'll be relegated. Unless the obligation bit can be rendered void if the player then refuses when it comes to the crunch time, in which case that's a loophole ripe for exploitation.

RIP Hendo..... or RAF (Rot At Forest.)

From a Hendo point of view. Regular PL football could see him go to the World Cup.

From a Blades point of view - not Forest FFS ☹️

Hes only keeping himself in trim and getting to play football for thr coming season, warming up almost, before we make a move for him again next pre season when us and Forest swap places.

Hendo will be back at the Lane playing for SUFC again soon enough.

Doesn't get in front of L1 Wes 😉

He could have gone to a better PL club though. Surely somewhere like Southampton?

Maybe not the best example given they've just signed that highly rated prospect from City, extended Caballero as depth, and considered Forster surplus to requirements

Is Samba leaving them then?

Surely becoming a star last season he won't want to play second fiddle to Henderson and will want to prove himself in the top flight? I know Henderson has Premier League experience and is the higher profile keeper of the two but surely he'll be wanting a move away now.

Hasn't Samba said he won't sign a new deal? I'd assume that's why Forest have acted. But of a shithouse move by him truth be told

Well if he's done that then yeah thats silly. Players thinking they're big time charlies is nothing new these days but before he's even proven himself at that level and wanting to leave a shithouse he must be.
