I don't like all the speculation of the reasons behind him taking his own life.

From what the inquest says, it sounds to me like his marriage was on the rocks, he was depressed and contemplating taking his own life, and sadly he went through with it.

Marriage break ups are difficult things to go through, and there is stuff that shouldn't be put in the private domain. Unless all the facts are known and made public, it does nothing but smear the memory of Gary Speed to speculate on the reasons why, and that include's making thinly veiled insinuations about his wife.

He said: "I was familiar with the address and we got there as quickly as we could. We could see the garage doors were open and could see Louise standing by the garage. I went into the garage and saw the patient at the back. He was lying face down at the bottom of the stairs with his face toward the bottom of the stairs. We established he had last been seen at 1am and it was apparent that he was not breathing. The defibrillator showed no heart rate. Despite the low chances of survival, we gave him CPR for 20 minutes but there was no output. His face was blue and he was cold."

From the Daily Mail - She cut her husband down on the instructions of the emergency services, but paramedics were unable to revive him.

Why then did she leave him face down at the bottom of the stairs???????

From what I see, Speeds wife and kids are the victims in this, we don't know what went off behind closed doors in their household, we don't know what their tiffs were about, but it was their private life. Stirring up speculation and shite does nothing to help.

The truth is that none of us know what happened yet we have three pages of guesswork, speculation, tittle tattle and bollocks. So what are you saying, she left Speed to die, is that what you are implying, is it?

I don't know who year are, and i'm not really bothered, but judging by your username you seem to be obsessed with Gary Speed and equally obsessive in your hatred about his wife, but the reason you have come on here to solely post about his wife, seems to insinuate to me that your obsession with Louise Speed is like a borderline mental illness.

There are a lot of posters on here, who was deeply upset about the death of Gary Speed, including myself. I even took flowers and a United shirt with a personalised message to Bramall Lane the day after he died and cried my eyes out. What angers me is the fact that somebody like you chooses to come on here, and spread shit about his wife. I find that to be a complete and utter disgrace.

The coroner has recorded his verdict, we have heard that he was possibly suffering depression and did it after an argument with his wife. I think that is all we need to know, because if there was one thing the late Gary Speed wouldn't have wanted, it would have been stuff that was very personal to him being all over the public domain.

I agree, more questions than answers but reading through it all it's obvious that he and his missus were having a few troubles that culmintaed in an argument after the party, that lead to her being locked out of the house, (by accident or on purpose??). If Gary was suffering depression there would have been more signs, the suicide would have been planned and a suicide note left, (statistically).

I can personally only conclude that he killed himself in a fit of peak to get back at his wife..........

Speed was a well-liked guy, but he was also a celebrity, an international player, and a former Blades player and manager. He appeared on TV regularly. He died in mysterious circumstances. Many other famous people who died in mysterious circumstances would not have been given the respect Speedo has received from most fans.

It also told me in no uncertain terms that 9/11 was all a conspiracy, and that the "planes" were all CGI. The site also shared other "truths" that were as far from the truth as it was possible to get.

In conclusion I would think that as there is no evidence of him having left any note then we will never know why he did it.
