Wait.. so you've got no respect for him cause he's selling for a profit!? That's business mate. For what it's worth, I think he's been a decent chairman. Spent far more than any other chairman, looks to be leaving us in a superior position to when he came on board.

Superior position in such ways as spending money on the playing team (around 130m by the way) improving the fans experience outside the matches (YouTube, behind the blades, sutv) one league above where we were when he came in, oh. And the premier League experience. But I guess that's not improving

So why should any new owner bother putting loads money into the club if the fans don't even want to bother playing in the PL.?
We can probably tootle along quite comfortably with what we've got.

For every club owner that puts the sort of investment into a club that you’re talking of, there are probably 2-3 struggling to generate enough funds to keep that club going… and many fail to adhere to the rules when they take a financial gamble, hence clubs like derby and the pigs are in the shit. That’s why Rotherham and Wycombe are most likely more sustainable clubs.
We currently have an owner running a tight ship, his methods aren’t to everyone’s tastes and some of his refinancing is high cost, but it’s worked when it’s needed to on the way up and has probably been a huge headache since we came down, especially whilst we were sat in the lower ends of the table under Slav. We have a more stable on field set up now which helps massively
Yes we certainly need to invest in the training facilities but we also need on field stability and growth, this comes not just from big signings but from developing players through the academy and if we don’t spend a lot of time in the premier league with its riches, then we sell the best of those. If we do spend time in the Premier League we probably sell them anyway, but we can reinvest in the next generations
Yes we all want a big investor, but I’d rather have someone that lets the football people take care of the football part and the commercial/ admin aspects are dealt with separately.
Worst thing about the play offs is that it extends the season meaning you can’t plan until it’s over as the revenues for championship and premier league will be hundreds of millions apart.

You don't need to look far, pal, they are just over there, in S6, an absolute basket case of a club, a laughing stock, they think they are a big club, but no big clubs stay out of the top flight for this long, do they? An embarrassing rust bucket ground.
If not the pigs, then we have Hallam FC, a nice (genuinely) quaint way to enjoy football. Nothing to aim for, nothing to worry about, and a nice little clubhouse to get a pint at half time.

This is such an interesting comment because he seems to be one of the owners out there that is looking to actually run a sustainable football club that doesn't just hemorrhage money.
It's mad that out of all the fanbases in the world, you'd think ours was the one that would actually understand the idea of not spending money you don't have and keeping money tight
