At home against one of the worst teams in the league. You don't sit one of the few creative players (Ndiaye) and start with the defensive non-scoring striker.

I personally think the damage is done. We showed nothing at all in the first half. We were slow. Passes were astray aplenty. We're static. Every second touch is a tackle. Have we had a shot of note?

Garbage, not a clue how to get through their defence, no cohesion between the front and midfield, struggling to string passes together in their half except when a forward ball is required and we can then competently pass sideways and backwards forever and a day. Competence of referee shown by adding in two minutes, having a stop for an injury after 46 mins, then blowing the whistle before the clock reaches 47. Nyland can be a dodgy keeper, yet we have put him under no pressure.

It's not just about formation and tactics
A bunch of complete strangers who are all right footed, and who all prefer to play in the same position could be put together randomly, and they'd produce more than this bunch of pricks.

Sheffield United will be in sixth place come what may today apparently, and that is just the excuse they need to do as little as possible
