Different situations.
Thing is Leeds earlier in the season have picked up some points and so are still v.much in with a chance of staying up.
However at the moment they are properly tanking and Burnley are picking up again. (Dyche is an absolutely brilliant manager in what he gets out of Burnley)
They might have a hangover from sacking him, but then again they need to change something.
His whole philosophy on attacking meant they often had high scoring games. Issue with that is if you don't have the better players in the league and it starts to go a bit wrong you end up conceding way too many and not scoring enough.
Wilder's plan in the PL was to try and keep in matches so we tried to be as tight defensively and be effective in our attacking play. This worked v.well in our first season of course.
Problem with this issue was we were never that prolific at scoring and this is what went wrong. We ended up being less effective going forward and started losing matches by the odd goal, confidence dropped etc. Summer of 2020 we didn't improve our attacking output at all really in terms of signings. Brewster was supposed to be the clinical striker but we required fresh impetus in midfield.
