Love an acronym, me. Never seen PITA beforeTrue, a lot of his tricks and passes didn't come off today but a few did. But even so, his tracking back, tackling, and generally being a PITA for the opposition was brilliant and makes him one of the first names on the team sheet
If referencing pita bread also known as flat bread, then yes 100% agree he was flat today!Love an acronym, me. Never seen PITA beforebut he was...
i love Ndiaye, class player. similar to MGW sometimes these moments of creativity come off and sometimes they don't. Much rather have players in the team that have the ability and try it than not.
There's something seriously wrong about our fanbase where flair players are concerned. It's always been the same. The whole point of them is that they're not perfect all the time but their individual brilliance always has the potential to make things happen.
I remember back to some of the pelters Paul Ifill used to get in our promotion season even though he nearly hit double figures for both goals and assists.
I swear some of our fans would rather we have workhorses like Monty and Doyle as they "put a shift in".
Another angle is Fernandes at Man U. Not comparable from a quality POV but he goes missing for massive parts of games and then pops up with a bit of magic so do you think Man U fans don't think he should be in the team??
He reminds me ofi love Ndiaye, class player. similar to MGW sometimes these moments of creativity come off and sometimes they don't. Much rather have players in the team that have the ability and try it than not.
Ifill got ridiculous amounts of stick for a player who contributed as much as he did.
Bang onKnow one thing, I'd rather have him in the team than out of it. Great prospect.
PH says he thinks it was just a kick so he hopes he will be ok.Any update on his injury?

Agree I think some posters are being a bit harsh on him,as you say he took some physical challengers today .Still contributed to our dominance also had a big part in the 1st goal as he took 2 players out of the game on the right wingHe took some stick today with defenders pushing, holding and hacking at his ankles. Looked knackered after 70 minutes but no wonder, put a shift in today that lad.
Jebisson is a prospect..., Ndiaye is our best player, fearless, energetic and has the sparkle that’s likely to attract the bigger premier clubs....much better than Webber IMO and don’t really get the comparisonHe's an exciting player but I'd still call him a prospect for now. He shown touches of what he's capable of but he sometimes reminds me of Danny Webber, in that he can beat a man, but then tries to beat him again when he didn't need to. He has a tendency to try to take on everyone when he could pick a simple pass instead or thread a ball through if he looks up. Give him time and he'll start to do this and we'll see more goals and assists from him in the long term.
I'm not a fan of over coaching. Quite often young players have a raw ability, which makes them exciting to watch and harder to deal with for opponents, as they know little about them. Sometimes coaches try to tell them to do x, y and z always and they lose their raw ability and instincts. Hecky seems to be leaving Ndiaye to do his thing, and that seems like a good long term move.
In some ways I hope we don't go up this season, not that I think we will, as Ndiaye will be better in the Championship next season for the experience he's had this season.
If you read it again it's clear that I'm not comparing him directly to Danny Webber, just some of the things he does are reminiscent. I also don't see why Jebbo is a prospect and Ndiaye isn't. Both are in their first seasons in the football league, irrespective of which division, and Ndiaye is not the finished article yet. I like the lad and I'm excited about what he has the potential to become.Jebisson is a prospect..., Ndiaye is our best player, fearless, energetic and has the sparkle that’s likely to attract the bigger premier clubs....much better than Webber IMO and don’t really get the comparison
Fingers crossed. Come summer, I hope we can keep him, probably our highest value player. He's our best player. Today it didn't quite work out but he did enough. I'd love it if in 12 months we can debate his performance for united
