With them bringing a MASSIVE amount how many do you reckon we will sell? 28K Minimum crowd?

I think you need to be more concerned with the score v The Pigs Berkshire. Crowd will be embarressing and I fear the result will be the same. If we can somehow scrape a draw we should all be very, very grateful. Can you imagine the carnage every time they pump the ball into our box?

B.....b....buuut all the massives go on about is crowds so i thought that's how you win a game?

All form goes out of the book for derby games. Besides we are not that far apart in the league are we?!

are we counting Blades or the swine cottage mob as well ?

Blades 25000 ish .................... Blades n pigs 25,000,000 ish :D

I'll be there, but as I don't go all the time I'm not a true blade so do I count... :D

What you need to know is that the tide is turning LOL ,that said they fancy it this year and will turn out in numbers and make some noise, every Blade worth his / her salt needs to sort a ticket out ,turn up,and make their(pigs) time in S2 a feckin misery and get behind the Blades from the the first to the last.

We hate Wednesday

Can't honestly see any more than 25,000. Looks like the smallest derby crowd for as far back as I remember.

Seriously, for all the flack aimed at the club for the "true Blades will be at the lane" message - they'd be bang on with this one. If you can't be arsed to get up for this game, find another interest.

The ticket prices are high, and silly for a game like Huddersfield. I can't believe anyone would use price or motivation as an excuse for missing the Sheffield derby.

Unlike previous derby's, there's no Sky or 3 match packages to put people off.

£31 so what?
I paid £30 to sit on the pigs cantilever stand way back in the early 90's, when Dane scored and Bobby D got a couple.
Couldn't get on the away end even tho I had as season tkt so bribed a pig for a tkt. £30 about 20 years ago and worth every penny. Did the double over the bastards winning 1-3 that night.
I know times are hard but 1 game all season you can't miss- surely?
I'll guess at 27500

Yep should make it £50 adults and £25 kids.

True Blades will go whatever the price for the privilege of being at the Lane for a noon kick off on a Sunday.

We've missed a trick here to make more money out of the fans.

Seriously anything over 10,000 ticket sales will be a great show for Blades at our prices making it 21,000 Blades plus our neighbours making it 25,000 plus.

We should have been far more imaginative with ticket sales for this game. We should have priced it to get a sell out and tied in at least one other match to the offer.

I think £50 would have been too steep. Then again, isn't £10 too steep for you? :)

I've said before that we've got the pricing wrong this season. I'm just suprised tht people would hide behind it for this one. In the same way that they wouldn't for a cup final. And to balance the argument, a much as the club have blown it this season, many fans obsession with filling the ground at whatever cost is, in reality, the road to the poor house.

Well we certainly wont be able to go to the return at the sty and sing about empty seats being here there and every F*****G where after this one.I agree with Swollengland anyone worth their salt should get a ticket sorted. If they do beat us youll'e never hear the last of it.

I can never understand why some people get so het up over numbers.

What will be, will be.

(The only numbers that matter are the score)

What with the noon kick off keeping all the die hards away.

:D

Well there will be 3 less season ticket holders there purely because its 12 noon on a Sunday.

Both my lads play for teams on a Sunday so thats me knackered, as I have to take one of them whilst my missus takes the other one.

I have a solution for your problem Ecco. Ask your lads for a friendly knock a bout in the garden on saturday afternoon. Two foot one or both of them thus meaning they can't play on sunday and you get to watch the mighty Blades. Happy times.

I aways assumed that local games got cancelled on days like these as none of the lads turn up

My Grandson's team is still playing, but he has refused to play, he is not missing the Swine game for anything........ don't know whether that is a good or bad thing.

Both my sons games have been re arranged. I'm amazed they all haven't.

Cheers Toiletduck, that sounds like a plan!

I rang to order 3 extra tickets last week and apparently the South stand was pretty much full and John ST not doing too badly, 28,672

I dont really care. I just want to hammer them. We have seen how well we can attack teams this season (colchester, Bury) and hope we do it against them.

I've just realised that it's £26 on the kop for this one. Not exactly cheap, but not overly excessive for a city derby. The majority who're moaning about the price are just making excuses.

is this just propoganda? Or are we heading for a big crowd?? http://www.sufc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10418~2475089,00.html

I think it's possible for there to be limited availability of seats together in certain areas, and there still be many thousand spare.
