I’m more in the know than most on here and can say he didn’t want Brewster as he was too raw. Berge wasn’t of real interest to him also.

There was a lot more to the departure but I think it was more to do with taking Utd as far as he could.

Re Brewster if he didn't want him then that's in total conflict with what the Prince has said. Taking us as far as he could, I can see why he'd think that but bottom of the PL is not where I'd want to leave if I was him, as good as it was under Wilder, he'll be remembered as much for the last season as he will the first three.

Also in conflict with the article is the prince saying wilder didn’t want soucheck and Trossard two players the board identified as potential signings !

HRH also revealed that he was unhappy with the former boss's recruitment during their time in the Premier League, and he wanted a change to the policy.

Up to this point, recruitment had been handled solely by Wilder and his team, but Prince Abdullah says 'recruitment should be a club-owned policy' and that players were 'suggested' to the manager

Think you have the wrong forum pal.
You and others like you, should try the problem page of Just 17.
But having read what you said, it must be hard when your lover turns out not to be the superhero you thought they were.I know you had 4 fantastic years together, and when things go wrong, it’s easy and normal to feel bitter. But,try not to project your own feelings of lost love and inadequacy on others you once adored.
In time you will learn to look back, on your lost love, and appreciate just how good the good times were.Yes,things fell apart, and your hero, made some dumb mistakes, don’t they all in the end.But it shouldn’t tarnish the time you had together.
Try and remain in the present, it will help.and perhaps join a few clubs and societies. There’s one down the road, for delusional people who can’t accept reality, but, I think you’re much better than that.
Anyway hope this helps, and the acne soon clears up.There’s someone out there, for everyone you know.
I’m fully in the present mate, it’s the Wilder fan boys who are living in the past and wrongly put the blame on the club when the evidence of culpability is clear for anyone with half a brain to see.
Our ex-manager did his best to damage our club and drive division between the fans and the owner for no reason apart from his own financial gain.
One thing I can’t stand above all else is hypocrites and that’s what he is, some people have fallen for it though.

Do you cry all the way to the chip shop, John?

I’m more in the know than you then, he did want Brewster he banged on about wanting him and he was aware the board wanted to make an “intent” signing Berge
Unfortunately he was also aware about all the other shit he knew he wasn’t aware of but in control of buying
When be bought all that crap he then on three occasions knew he’d took United as far as he could

Am I making this up or was it implied that Wilder also offered Wout Weghourst - the 7 foot Dutch striker who played for them in the Euros? And we ended up with Mcburnie.
