Up there with the worst players I’ve watched at BDTBL- I don’t think he has a single redeeming quality as a centre half. I just don’t get why Slav keeps picking him.
You'd have thought his display against wba would have thrown up a red flag. God I hope Davies is fit to come back.

The bigger concern is any team with more than 1 player over 6ft tall bully us and win the majority of long ball they hoof up front!

Robinson was shite but certainly not on his own! We gotnthe result we deserved and need to work out a way of playing against teams like Preston as there are many more to come!

Said on Saturday’s game thread that he’s been a waste of a shirt since we bought him. However, it was also a stupid foul in the first place by Billy.
It was. I was back of the kop so didn’t see what happened for the goal but shows what giving stupid fouls away can cost you

With all our small midfielders we need a shithouse like Lopata back there Robinson is too slow reacting then he gets himself into trouble.
I've liked what I've seen of Lopata so far but there again, I'm not the manager seeing him in training every day. Looks a brute though and not someone to be bullied easily, more the other way around. Gerrimin.

How many mistakes does Robinson have to make? How many points does he have to cost us before the manager realises that he is crap and should not be in our team?
He is still getting to know the players. He's probably thinking a bloke the last manager paid actual money for and played in the first team would have some degree of basic competence.

The goals he's contributed towards are serious schoolboy stuff. The ball was in the air an age. How could you misjudge it and flick it on?

Once we were attacking and he was on the right following a throw in situation. He just kicked it straight to their man and sent them on the attack.

They guy is abject. I just hope Davies is fit soon. He'll be a massive upgrade defensively and in possession.

It's hard to believe that Chris and Alan rated him. Whatever we paid, anywhere between 500k to 1m they should take it out of their settlement monies. Scandalous. One decent game v Everton aside, he's never been a player.

To be responsible for 2 goals in a week is good going even for him. I'd forgotten his o.g. v West Brom too!

If Slav is sticking with him because he's left footed then I don't get it. We're playing with 2 at the back, not 3 with overlapping centre backs. All the left centre back has to do with the ball is pass it to Norrington-Davies to the side of him, Norwood ahead, Egan to his other side, or back to Olsen. It doesn't matter whether you're right or left footed.

If Davies is still out next game then start Basham or Lopata.

agree, a left footed CB is not worth starting every game a goal down

Lopata has to be given a chance for no reason other than the fact that we only have Egan with any physical presence and a guy capable of winning a header
Every championship team lump it into the box and we are incapable of winning any headers or physical battles

Breaking news...

Chips and Fish to start at Hull instead of Robinson..

Vinegar applied first half, salt added for the next 45..

Actually felt sorry for him tonight. After his obvious dismay at costing us again on Saturday, I really hoped he’d turn it around. But that was as poor a performance by a Blades CH as I can remember in recent years, and goodness knows it’s been a crowded field since we lost JoC.

He reminds me of Conor Sammon, in that no matter how high he jumps he always seems to end up lower down than before he took off. God knows how a player as physically stacked as he is actually manages that.

This, however …
Get badly injured retire.
… is as pisspoor as they come. Shame on you.

Don’t usually like to single players out but it’s blatantly obvious that he isn’t at the required level.

Never been a CB. Weak as piss, wins nothing in the air and isn’t even half decent on the ball.

There was a reason he couldn’t get near a shite Forest team.

I said he was the weak link on Saturday. He was the weak link in the old formation at LCB as well.

He is a bang average left back. He is not a centre back.

I might be being thick here, but who is JLT?!

It's not Jack Robinson's fault that he is an average league 1 footballer who is playing centre half in a supposedly top half championship team.

It is the fault of Wilder for buying him and Slav for continuing to pick him. What do either of them see in him? I don't think he'd get in Hallam's team.

Much like Wilder its left footers on the left side with SJ in charge.

Robinson was beyond shit tonight, not just the goal at the end, he had a Weston Super from start to finish.

shame really as he actually looked ok towards the end of last season, remember the assist for Jebbison for the winner at Everton?

hopefully Davies is back for the weekend and Robinson can have a much needed period away from the limelight.
