You do know that in the majority of cases the player or his agent has some input regards where they want to move to, he has played for Forest before, he knows the city, the manager and the players, he may well feel that not only did he play the best football of his career, but his penthouse apartment overlooking Trent Bridge was fantastic, or the toasted oatcakes after training is something he can't live without.

Sorry and not trying to be arguementative and possibly the club could help themselves a bit more, regards denying rumours in the press, but none of us know just who we have been after, we rely on the press, the days of leaks coming out of the Lane seem to be over, we were never going to get Lingaard once West Ham came in, realistically no one of any quality wanted to be in a relegation battle in January, it was a lose, lose for them.

We're wasting our time, well actually you may be but I'm not as I'm not stressing over signings as I can't get involved in completing them.

We have no idea what is going on in the background, how many players we have offers in for or how our budget compares to every other club that wants the same players cos they're the best available.

I know that our recruitment team will be doing the best that can with the budget available, so I'll let them get on with it whilst I get on with my life.

I mean it's not not like they can just wander down the footballers for sale store and pluck what they want off the shelves.

It does make me chuckle when complete amateurs criticise professionals in any field whether they be players, managers, owners or recruitment teams.

I cannot personally see a £38m Manchester United International being interested in playing for Sheffield United, can you, realistically? Ergo, waste of time chasing him, by all means make a quick phone call and see if there's room for discussion but whilstever we are chasing pipe dreams we are missing out on more realistic targets.

I wouldn't have a clue, but I'd be surprised if we're looking to spend less than £10M on all these loans. It's not small change.

No, there is quite an extensive shortlist and Diallo is not at the top of it, he'd be fantastic and hopefully it comes off but as we said on our Ben Davies video we didn't feel the Diallo one was that likely.
