Osborn has had the shirt in recent matches but is he enough for LCM? If he were to become injured/suspended we'd probably need to tweak our formation or unless Ampadu wouldn't mind playing there despite being right footed as it would only be a very short stint until one of Fleck or Osborn become available again.

No recall clauses for any loans apart from during the January transfer window. Applies to all clubs

Fleck got the injury in the first half, someone ‘made a back for him’ and he flew over him and slammed into the turf, from about five foot up.

I was surprised he carried on to be honest, but he didn’t tear any trees up afterwards and put in a very pedestrian performance tbh.

No, can’t disagree. So it’s difficult to say if it was his back, but he certainly walked off holding the same area he held after getting up after his first half body slam

Fleck still seems to lack the engine he’s been known for throughout the last few seasons.
Been the same since lockdown, he really needs a proper full pre season for me....this seasons shortened one didn’t do the trick with injuries robbing him of preparation time.

The Fleck injury now further highlights the poor decision not to strengthen creativity in the midfield whlist simultaneously shipping Freeman out on loan. We all make mistakes, and so does Chris Wilder. This is probably his biggest for a while.
