Doubt he'll go for him. He'll be mega expensive AND he's already got a top keeper in Johnson.
Hope so"New WBA Manager Chris Wilder is set to raid his old club Sheffield United in a sensational triple swoop of Oli Burke, Wes Foderingham and Jack Robinson"

WBA, as you say, already have Johnstone, who I think it top quality.
I saw that Man Utd were apparently interested in having him as 3rd choice - not a great career move but a good one for his bank balance! He was linked with a PL club last week
He's not good enough for the Prem.Lundstram will hold out for a Premier League contract. I can see someone like Burnley, West Ham or Palace giving him a deal.
I didn't say he was. Like it or not, at £50k per week on a free he's worth a squad place to those clubs, particularly as he's on a free. He's not good enough for the Prem.

No chance Burnley will go for that, new owners have put the club in debt through buying it, spending 50k on a squad filler, West Ham will be looking at other options, Moyes will be looking to build on getting into Europe, not by signing another back up, as for Palace, Terry/Lampard will have the pick of loan players to add numbers.I didn't say he was. Anyone who disagrees with wilders statement doesn’t understand how to use hindsight.Anyone who disagrees with wilders statement is "a playstation manager"
Couldn’t give a toss about WBA whether Wilder goes there or not - just want us to beat them twice.
Hopefully he doesn’t walkin the front door and leave through the back like he promised not to do to usCouldn’t give a toss about WBA whether Wilder goes there or not - just want us to beat them twice.
Think there is going to be a real managerial merry go round, Everton have pipped Palace as a trigger to startI'm not 100% convinced this will happen.
The Everton job is available now too.
They could do worse than appoint him, but the point is that Spurs, Palace and Celtic jobs are still not filled either. Wolves will be managed by another Portuguese.
Why rush into the West Brom job. Nuno was lined up by Palace. If he goes to Everton instead that means Palace have to reconsider. Howe has turned down the Celtic job and there is talk that Aussie manage Ange Postecoglou lacks the required badges. Chris must be in the top 5 of a few of those jobs.
Once others get rules out he may be in with a shot. If Palace got for Dyche for instance then he would be a favorite for Burnley.
I can see some twists on this one.
I'd give him a big clap myself, still love the man, but once that whistle goes he manages a rival and I'm not keen on Albion either, was hoping he'd go to Palace or Burnley if Dyche goes, but Albion was always the most likely.
I just hope Wilder, unlike Warnock did, doesn't harbour any bitterness. Warnock admitted it drove him to consider the Wednesday job, I doubt Wilder would ever do that it has to be said.
Anyway, all together now Slavisa Jokanovic, Slavisa Jokanovic....... to the tune of (who needs Mourinho - can't remember the real name of tune?!)
I'm not 100% convinced this will happen.

It's difficult to predict PL chairmen though.I'd be surprised if CW lands any of those roles CB - last season's catastrophic performance (which, as much as he may try, he can't transfer blame for onto the Board) his insistence of having full control over all transfers (including the recent, costly acquisitions that didn't work), and, to a lesser degree, the manner of his protracted exit, will not have gone unnoticed.
If I was the one recruiting at those clubs, would I appoint CW - nope, I think there are better, more experienced, lower risk and lower maintenance options available.
If there is a chain of moves, I could perhaps see him landing the Burnley job at a push but no others in the Prem.
It's difficult to predict PL chairmen though.
Yes he had a mare last season but what about one time golden boy Marco Silva? What was his experience before Everton? Relegated with Hull and Watford wasn't he?
Isn't Wilder's second team Everton? He has a bit of an affiliation. Fans love that.
You would think with the new ground and 5 year plan/champions league, , Terry, Lampard and CW won't be on the shortlist, Nuno according to the papers favourite for the Palace job, probably looking at a big name in EuropeIt's difficult to predict PL chairmen though.

I suspect they’ll be delighted if he gets them promoted in his first season.Hope his punters are as patient as we were
Everton fans would be fuming if they appointed Wilder. It's difficult to predict PL chairmen though.
