did we deserve a point, no. they were the better team. but should we have got a point, yes. because it is criminal to concede with the last kick of the half. but we are clinical enough at this level we said way back that defence shouldnt have to be perfect every week to just nick a point we have to start scoring & them chances in the 1st 20 mins when we were playing well have to go in, thats the difference between the championship

You say how has Norwood put himself above the team. Look at him, as he strolls into a space challenged by nobody, pointing back to the gaping hole that he has just left.

I loved him early on - right from the start - first game that I saw him, and you you can read, I compared his game to TC - no higher praise in my book ... but when the going gets tough you take it on your shoulders, like Didz does. Norwood absolves responsibility and points to others.

Ramsdale was incredible again. CBs were poor and pulled all over the shop. Bogle is a dire defender and not even getting down the wing. On the odd occasions he goes forward he cuts inside. Fleck and Norwood were wank.

Don't think it would have done us much harm to bring on Brunt and Seriki earlier. Brunt has excellent vision, a great touch and can shoot from range. Newcastle were knackered at the end, but we were also needing some energy and attacking quality. Disappointed he didn't get on.

At Everton I could understand that we didn't make substitutions because everybody kept contributing. Tonight was different.

I really didn't understand the lack of subs. We were creating nothing. Egan stayed up at one point. Why not take off a defender and just go for it? Perplexing
