Third PL relegation and first one I’m ‘meh’ about

I was gutted in 1994 and 2007 because we’d come so close to staying up. Now I almost feel like ‘Thank fuck that’s over’. It’s a very odd feeling.
Thats exactly how I feel. I did however turn the match off 10 seconds before the final whistle so I didnt have to listen to Sky brag about it being confirmed.

The usual suspects (ie bored teenagers hiding behind an avatar of their favourite player) trying to milk it on Twitter and frankly I think there are more 16 year old Leeds fans who care than Blades fans tbh.

I just hope we can get the next chapter started now. New manager have a look at the players in training, get Knilly going on tactics, try the young uns.

We've had more than enough time to accept it which is why I think very few are particularly pissed about it.

What is far more frustrating is everything surrounding it, the piss poor performances, all the rubbish allegedly happening behind the scenes, the refusal to drop/play certain players. For me it's been the contrast between this season and last.

We got exactly what we deserved if you ask me.

I switched the match off after Crystal Palace away in January and haven't put it on to watch Utd since. Ive found my blood pressure levels have since returned to normal.

If we start playing a bit of positive football, quick tempo, and play a kid or two from the start, I might actually put the tele back on again before the season ends to watch us again. If not then the tele stays off United watch until August.
