Ah radio 4 ,enough said
Prince Abdullah is the current owner of Sheffield United. It's his job to front up and lead. We haven't had one word, when normally he's motormouth. Chris Wilder is a private citizen of the the United Kingdom. That was decided days ago. I'm not sure what's hard to understand there?
We'll have to agree to disagree. Radio interviews, TV appearances, newspapers, magazines, social media. Now: conspicuous by his absence. He really isn’t a motormouth though is he ? Never been his character.
Oh another smart arse
Fair enough, we've onto got conjecture to go on at the moment.Answered in #33.
I'd say less motormouth than wilder has been in the past month. We'll have to agree to disagree. Radio interviews, TV appearances, newspapers, magazines, social media. Now: conspicuous by his absence.
He probably a bit busy right now sorting out the fucking mess he's been left with tbh.
would you rather he put all his energy into sorting out the manager situation? Or blowing smoke up someone's arse on Talksport?
This is the problem, nobody has told us anything. It’s a shabby way to treat the fans.

Could say what the plan for the future is , Bettis only said the plan for the next couple of months
Oh another smart arse![]()
The plan is seemingly: there is no plan. Which makes you wonder what the arguments have been about.
To be honest, he’s a refreshing change, to the old footballers taking about football. The Prince is never off the phone to these lads, so there's nothing surprising here.
What is surprising is that Simon Jordan, an unlikable man who ran Palace into administration, gets a job talking about sport.
You'd have thought that'd have been done already. If not, I hardly think five minutes is going to devastate the project, do you?
What changed in his contract ?Not taking sides but Jordan has highlighted the fact that CW has been disrespectful etc to his boss. Could this be viewed as a means of orchestrating any decision on his employment?
People talk of constructive dismissal for CW as he apparently had the terms of his contract changed.
Seems again it is 6 and two 3s
What's his twitterWilder has a little bit of a track record calling out owners publicly. As he inevitably goes to either an established global club (Celtic) or Premiership club (Newcastle/ Palace) you can't go off like this when it gets tough.
At no point did wilder take any blame this season, every interview was the same we commented on that on here. His last few interviews were borderline embarrassing, even when we won he had a dig at the owners it was tedious and causing a division between the fans and owners
Look at what his best pal on Twitter is doing at the moment, he's just adding fuel to the bonfire!

Kinda agree
I listen to Toby Foster in the morning and sometimes John Kane for the Northern soul. Last week, Paulette Edwards (I think it was) stood in for Toby, Absolute shite, like commercial radio, talking about a pathetic scenario such as "when was the last time you bought a turnip, was it a funny shape?"I was listening to Talkshite and Radio Sheffield on Friday for any news they had on the Wilder situation
How anybody can listen to those two radio stations on a regular basis is beyond me
Sorry mate don’t agree......a lot of us on here Who have a different opinion to you have been on here years and are not, at all, the owners yes men.....that’s insulting.I know this forums Saudi propaganda machine is working overtime to blacken Chris Wilders character but citing Simon Jordan is a bit weak. A man who once got destroyed in a debate with Robbie from fucking Arsenal Fan TV.
From what I hear Wilder was resigned.to leaving since January and extremely worried he would miss out on his compensation should we get rid of him next season following relegation. He’d only receive around 25% of what he's entitled to now.I have to say I was really disappointed when he left and initially I blamed the owners.....the more I think about it CW seems to have engineered this....he’s bookies favourite for the Celtic job and it was reported SUFC are seeking compo from Celtic.....then there is the constant sniping and playing the “or I’ll leave“ card....well he could play that all last season...but the team and his management has been abysmal this season...nothing new to say at interviews other than blowing smoke up the opposing manager. Well my opinion now is thanks for the great years, but when the going got tough for the first time (apart from his first 4 games in league 1) he walked...and for that he’s gone down in my estimation. Just my opinion.
What if the chairman & manager have an agreed plan forward then the chairman decides to change it?PA "I love Chris, Even if we lost every game this season I would still have him as manager next season."
PA "If Chris was managing another team, I would go for him as manager of SUFC"
CW "moan moan can't compete..moan moan can't go toe to toe.. moan moan were playing with league 1 players..."
What the plan is. How he wants to develop Sheffield United going forward. What the vision is. If anything has changed. And say what exactly?
We've just been smashed 5-0, and the first team manager has left. I think he will be abit busy at the moment. There's the manager situation to resolve as well as a host of problems at first team level.
I also don't buy the supposed theory that he's always ont telly, magazines or radio. Infact he's only made a handful of statements and appearances in the last couple of years.
Show me how many appearances he's had in the last couple of years? You should have many examples. I would hazard a guess around 5 or 6. And these were within certain situations. The court case being one. And coming out in support of CW around Xmas time.
