Prince Abdullah is the current owner of Sheffield United. It's his job to front up and lead. We haven't had one word, when normally he's motormouth. Chris Wilder is a private citizen of the the United Kingdom. That was decided days ago. I'm not sure what's hard to understand there?

This is the problem, nobody has told us anything. It’s a shabby way to treat the fans.

I would be surprised if any details are released via official routes. Considering their approach to date, the club won't share anything and CW will undoubtedly be bound by an NDA/Confidentiality agreement.

Expecting anything more including precise details of what transpired in unrealistic. Why would or should the club do so unless they feel it would be in their interest.

The main point I guess would be whether CW jumped or was pushed. As the club statement already mentioned the two parties have agreed to part way via mutual consent, I don't think even that will be confirmed.

We've just been smashed 5-0, and the first team manager has left. I think he will be abit busy at the moment. There's the manager situation to resolve as well as a host of problems at first team level.

I also don't buy the supposed theory that he's always ont telly, magazines or radio. Infact he's only made a handful of statements and appearances in the last couple of years.

Show me how many appearances he's had in the last couple of years? You should have many examples. I would hazard a guess around 5 or 6. And these were within certain situations. The court case being one. And coming out in support of CW around Xmas time.

We mock NKT for the interpretation of events happening at the Rustdome yet it’s exactly the same on here. People make claims that suit their agenda with absolutely no providence whatsoever beyond Twitter.

Either that or there are a lot of board members, senior staff or players who are members on here.

I have to say I was really disappointed when he left and initially I blamed the owners.....the more I think about it CW seems to have engineered this....he’s bookies favourite for the Celtic job and it was reported SUFC are seeking compo from Celtic.....then there is the constant sniping and playing the “or I’ll leave“ card....well he could play that all last season...but the team and his management has been abysmal this season...nothing new to say at interviews other than blowing smoke up the opposing manager. Well my opinion now is thanks for the great years, but when the going got tough for the first time (apart from his first 4 games in league 1) he walked...and for that he’s gone down in my estimation. Just my opinion.

How anybody can listen to those two radio stations on a regular basis is beyond me

I listen to Toby Foster in the morning and sometimes John Kane for the Northern soul. Last week, Paulette Edwards (I think it was) stood in for Toby, Absolute shite, like commercial radio, talking about a pathetic scenario such as "when was the last time you bought a turnip, was it a funny shape?"

From what I hear Wilder was resigned.to leaving since January and extremely worried he would miss out on his compensation should we get rid of him next season following relegation. He’d only receive around 25% of what he's entitled to now.

I've also heard that Wilder was alone in these negotiations, didn't look to get a deal for his ‘team’ hence the reason Knill and Prestige are still with us under contract.

Might not be accurate and I'm sure there's 2/3/4/5 sides to the story. Only the people involved will know

What if the chairman agrees to fund January loan signings then renegades on that agreement?
What if the chairman agrees to increase the wages structure and then backtracks?

If the Prince loved Wilder that much then he would have bent over backwards to keep him. These little drops that CW has fed into press conferences look like he was making his stance clear on what he thought was agreed. The Princes “I love Chris” seem to have sown the seeds of “ As long as we now do things my way I still want him as our manager”

What the plan is. How he wants to develop Sheffield United going forward. What the vision is. If anything has changed.

Google is your friend. Off hand: Talksport half a dozen times; bbc Radio 5 Live at least twice; RS several times; Forbes magazine; Star several times; various football orientated publications; Sky Sports news several times; club website many times; nationals. Also, international publications have been posted here. Oh, and appearances at the ground when the going was good (league one promotion celebration sticks out).This is the first time since I've supported the club, that a manager has moved on/sacked and there has been no comment from the owner after this length of time.
