Two huge appointments now

Seen a lot of names being touted for next manager already, but the bigger appointment could be the proposed Director of Football.
Do we think there's someone lurking in the wings already...Jan van Winckel?
If it’s van winkle talk to PurpleRain about how he feels he’s run beerschot this second half of the season.

He doesn't fill me with any confidence, but he seems to have the Prince's ear
I think it’d be a shocking decision but as you say football is about jobs for the boys half the time and he’s definitely one of the princes boys.

Title says it all. One huge appointment becomes two. That's twice as hard for the hard of thinking. How many times have they got the one appointment right, anyone? What chance two?

The prince and his advisors haven't got a clue about championship football. They barely had a clue about football when they first took us over, look at some of the things Jim Phipps did and they put him in charge! The prince spent £2m on Brayford, more money on one player than Wilder did in league one.

He's completely out of his depth

Brian Deane is a head coach rather than a manager.

At the moment though he's an owner rather than in work as a coach, but what more Bladey Bladeness if we appointed him next!

Then again maybe he'd be better off as the new DoF if he wasn't currently involved with another club?

Last season, Swansea, Brentford, Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield, Leeds, QPR, Reading and West Brom

Obviously, it has to be done right and Forest are an example of, actually I don't know what on earth they're playing at, but the fact that the 3 promoted teams (and 5 of the top 6) and the top 4 this season do speaks for itself.

I don't think I could stomach Deano as manager if it was all to go pear-shaped - too much of a legend to have his reputation tarnished. Let's leave that legend in tact

Apparently nobody in charge of the club has ever appointed a football manager before. This could be interesting.
