im clueless at how have we gone from attacking team of last many seasons to this nothingness. as souness said where the team that played man utd off the park for 83 mins

i knew i shouldve watched Saturday night takeaway instead

Sky should be refunding subscriptions for airing this. But they won't. Fucking typical.

If Mcburnie had been born in Pitsmoor and Billy in Garforth, then Sharp would have been hung drawn and quartered for that first half!

He is past it, pure and simple!

What would sacking wilder achieve? We’re fucked either way. Can’t think of a better man to take us back up next season.
It isnt relevant who the next manager should/could be. The only question is whether Wilder is managing and coaching the team effectively and getti g them to produce the best possible performances than not. The answer to that question will then lead to whether or not we need to search for a new manager

Apart from the first half against Southampton which will take some beating, that's the worst half of football since we got promoted.

I’m listening to the live commentary on Talksport 2.

The commentators are coming out with all the cliches.....it’s quite funny to listen.

Apparently according to these experts

We are the hardest working team in the PL
We also have a honest set of players who play in the mould of Wilder with a never say die attitude.
Apparently we are loaded with big physical players.....when we lack players with height and phydicslity.....
we must be one of the smallest teams in the PL....but that doesn’t fit the stereotype.

Our main game plan is playing it long to a target man and putting crosses into the box
They also said McBurnie must be the tallest player on the pitch and we play to his aerial dominance.
I think the media are embarrassed about United because they probably said nice things last season so have to say some similar bullshit so as not to look too stupid after this abysmal season

A bit like a cup tie between a premiership side and a league 1 side, we are just hoping to hang on and nick a goal.
Well, we've gone in level at the break. We haven't conceded. Credit where it's due? If that is the game plan it's going OK so far. If we do nick a goal (fuck knows how that could possibly happen based on first half, but stay with me) then we'll all owe CW a bit of an apology.

In fairness to the front 2,what decent service have they had?

Imagine if the piggies were challenging for promotion. Mass suicides for sure. Worst ever half of football I've watched.

Embarrassed by that. We had more of a go against Man City. Just can't work out what the plan is supposed to be other than let Fulham have the ball. We are playing 3rd from bottom FFS. Worried when I saw the team selection but presumed Wilder knew what he was doing. Worst half of football I have seen for years.

Did I hear the commentator say we haven't been in their box? I don't think I have ever heard that statement ever about a team EVER

I’m not defending McBurnie here, but for anyone singling him out for criticism:

McBurnie: 21 touches, 6 aerials won
Sharp: 4 touches, 0 aerials won

The real issue is that McBurnie cost £20 million and has been relatively indifferent during his time with us, Sharp on the other hand gets a free pass because of his history, this is the same as wilder. Stats are telling, McBurnie has been involved but his involvement has been that of a hardworking player not pulling up any trees so that’s not acceptable...... apparently. Meanwhile someone that’s not had/done much doesn’t stand out when combined with historical sentiment avoids criticism.

No we won’t. No way the plan was to play as turgid as that. He got it wrong again, but the more he’s told the more in entrenches into this awful way of playing.

I’ve been a fan who’s says let’s keep the faith with CWAK but the selection tonight and the style of football has been embarrassing. It’s very worrying😭

Can't believe how the standard of our football has dropped since last year. Long ball hoof it crap . Piss poor first half performance only positive is it's still 0 0.

Who motivates the motivator ... not youwhinging gits on here

To offer a bit of balance, I thought Fulham were shit, too.
In fact, fuck it! I've never been more confident that we'll keep a clean sheet and stroll the second half to win by at least two clear goals.
"He's our striker, he's our number 9.....scoring goals in the red and white"!!
Come on everyone, join in......😌

top tip, my mum just text to say she's put Line of Duty on.

Don’t understand CW’s formation! Absolutely stupid to play Bash in midfield! What a waist, people pulling McB Down? he and Sharp are having to come half way into our own half to try and get some ball! Midfield have suppled nothing

If only you could interpret what you state for what it is actually telling you 😉.
