WELL! as if nothing-else could go wrong? another serious injury. Let’s finish this nightmare ☹️

Wilder won't get rid of his favourites. That's the issue. Guaranteed that Stephens, Norwood and McBurnie will still be in the team next season.
Na, they'll be off. McB will be handy next season any ow and he'll stay. Norrington-davies will be first choice lwb next season.

I was hoping to get to 12 points. Tonight's "performance" and Egan's injury makes even that look a stretch.

Theres a lot wrong with this team. A couple of bad players and some passengers doesn't help.

We can't defend, can't create, and can't score (because everything we do is so painfully slow once we cross halfway). It's no surprise we are bottom of the league and cut adrift.

Such a shame, I didn't think we'd be in this position for a few years yet, but here we are.

Have we got any players that are actually capable of using their weaker foot for anything other than fucking standing on?

No doubt the mob are slathering and spewing on toxic shitbox and this thread, but we’ve not been bad tonight.

Plenty of possession, some nice interplay and a few good chances. Let down by lack of quality finishing and defensive gaffes again. Certainly not outclassed.

Bit late for a review of the Wolves game, or is it the Villa game, or the Leeds game, in fact you’ll have to tell me cause we’ve been rinsing and repeating that since the first game of the season.

It’s no longer an argument that holds any merit this far into a season.

Maybe it's not for you this forum lark

For what it's worth, Egan can't even stand at all at the minute.

Really? West Ham won’t have an easier game all season.

We’ve gifted them two goals and apart from McGoldrick’s chance, haven’t troubled them at all. They’ve barely broken into a sweat but come away with a comfortable 2-0 win.

It’s Groundhog Day stuff.

Edit: Make that 3-0. Lol.

Last season when we was demoralised by Leicester after project restart, CW kicked off after the game and one of the things he was that "lucky for these lads, we're not expecting wholesale changes next season".

Big mistake, and we're paying the price. I wanted us to survive last season, then bring in some proper quality because last season it was clear that we lacked a cutting edge. How many games we won one nil and defended for our lives? In them games though I thought given a bit more quality, we would grab a few more goals on the counter. That's exactly how West Sham have gone about things this season and Lingard has been a reyt signing for them.
Paying peanuts you only get monkeys. No quality signing to improve the side is criminal. Money (seemingly) wasted on a striker that looks like he's never played the game before.
Considering overlapping CB's are our dna & we've had 3 yrs to find or train up a replacement in the event of injury , playing half a season with square pegs is beyond belief.
The Prince in my opinion was correct not to trust CW in the Jan window. I think CW should be the man to bring us back up but he has to acknowledge the waste of £100million in transfers. Also, if we are to be paupers again next season (which is likely) it's no good having targets that will choose other clubs willing to pay better wages. Identify realistic players not wasting weeks chasing players with no intention of coming to us.

Been an awful depressing season.

Were you watching a different game? We've been bloody rubbish.

Sheffield United FC are the only team in the world that could contrive to lose this game. Fuckin unreal
