A coupe of things:
- People can improve through experience - Wilder will have learnt a lot from this season and is very unlikely to make the same mistakes again if he gets another chance. He's a bloody good manager, not an idiot. If he can get us back up, he'll deserve another opportunity.
- Recruitment strategy is partly to blame for our current position and that's not all on Wilder. As others have said, we've put too much reliance on youth with a view to high resale value. We've not adjusted the wage structure enough to allow us to attract players with Premier League experience. However this conservative approach, has probably put us in a relatively strong position for next season (certainly in terms of finance)
