Why the fuck Wilder didn't manage to get a couple of extra midfielders in is beyond me. At least we would have some competition for the want

Look at his stats. No goals all season. Few assists. Disciplinary issues. Awful performances. Yet Wilder has let us get in the situation that he is an automatic pick because of the 'system'

His stats are nothing like last season.

Part of the problem and a fuck up from Wilder and the club that he is still here.

I’m not saying he’s played well tonight or for most of the season. But he’s not been the worst midfielder at all.

He was our second best midfielder tonight but that's not saying much is it

Norwood was one out of ten for putt mg his kit in the right way round
 
Lundstram has been so poor, without any upside whatsoever this season, and was poor last season from Christmas onwards.
Fleck was good almost all of last season and poor since getting injured and is now coming back to it.
Norwood has been really really poor this season with some cataclysmically bad performances.
The underlying problem is the midfield 3 and Wilder not recruiting any competition or even cover for when they drop out of form. He has let them get to this point through his poor management and they have in turn dug him deeper into the shit with some rubbish turgid displays

He wasn’t supposed t be a replacement for Coutts.
 
Watch his play in the build up to the first goal, he's at least 2 chances to challenge the player with the ball, he just tracks alongside him and allows him to possess the ball easily moving forward. Then he stops and casually walks when the pass to werner is made.. League one player right there..

Get him out of the team, give Rodwell a shirt (yes I've lost my marbles now) because we're down and out, nothing to lose, cancel lundstrams contract, give him the freedom from Sheffield United that he craves so much..

Get the bad smell out of the dressing room..

Some balance on Lundstram.
The goal that Mason Mount scored was almost identical to many of the ones that Lundstram got last season.
The questions I have are why has Lundstram stopped making these runs this season and why have we stopped playing attacking players who can run in behind and cut it back for goals?
We still fanny around on the wings looking for overloads when we should move it faster down the middle and channels. Over to you Chris. And the 'system'
PS Chelsea were there for the taking today

He's not had a good season but he's had a better season than Norwood. Seems a bit harsh to pick on him. He was good and bad today. He's certainly not good enough for the PL though.
