Antwoine Hackford

I love watching the academy sides on a weekend, I don't watch any specific side just have a walk about and so watch many players over the years and if someone catches my eye I like to watch their progress over the years. We have many youngsters that I can see making a breakthrough over the next 5 years or so.

But the next superstar from the Shirecliffe conveyor belt is Antwoine Hackford, a 14 year old striker. Plays for the U15s what a player this boy is and I am going to go on record and say this lad will make his first team appearance aged 16, become our youngest ever player and our youngest ever goal scorer. That is some statement but he is some player.

Any other avid academy watchers have their tips for future stars?
The finest post on any football forum EVER.

Great prediction from 2 years ago mate, apart from he won’t score cos that’s not what we do.

He looked ok in his cameo today showed some nice movement whilst receiving very little service. He certainly offered more than Mousset and on that basis deserves to be in the first team building whilst also continuing to get game time for the youth sides. I would encourage united fans not to heap too much expectation on him too to be a saviour being a sheffield lad he will hear what’s being said about him and he is still very very young.

We need sumert to lean on , this lads gona save us ( alright a bit to much ) but got a shot away in 10 mins and was unlucky not to score , must start in the FA cup , take your chance son , don't bottle it we all want you to succeed .

When your 16 year old striker looks just as good as ur 23 million pound signing

Sure I was reading earlier his current worth is £100k. He could be the answer to our prayers a bargain basement youth striker saves our season. I can see the book of the movie of the theatre play now. £££££

I think you misunderstand the issue when the 16 Yr old is doing just as well as mousset and brewster tbh shows we have some serious issues

I think you didnt understand the sarcasm in my post although I was telegraphing it. ;)

I think you worded it in a way that made it read condescendingly like I'd made out he would save our season and was dumb for saying so.

So I thought I would clarify that I didn't mean Hackford looked elite just our strikers have been that poor and the creators or lack thereof behind them..

Little Louis Reed, t’old Pinchy’s favourite. Then Trenton Wiggan, then Hackford.
I was just being facetious, it was an unbelievable prediction from the OP
Even if you were it’s still good to have the facts. Don’t remember Trenton Wigan?

The best ITK shout of the lot! 👏🏻

I know it such a cliched call, but I would use the remainder of this season to bring more lads like Antwoine into the side. ....They certainly can’t do any worse.

Tend to agree. Not sure how many are genuinely close though?

Brunt would’ve been my picked out of all of them based on what he’s doing for the u23s. There won’t be any more like Hackford to be playing u23s football at 16 is astounding to make you’re senior debut is incredible and to do that in the prem is almost impossible so hats off to the lad. But we don’t have a group of Hackford’s but there are some players who might make it as pros.
