Leon Clarke is shit? Is this a blades forum or what?

McBurnie is total shit, he's that shit I'd have an over the hill Leon Clarke for him right now- that's how shit McBurnie is, and for what it's worth Leon Clarke was far from shit for us.

DCL last night showed what an athletic centre forward looks like, McBurnie did not look like him at all he looked shit.

He was playing with a damaged shoulder last night, look at his performance against Leicester last game he played before he got injured, but enjoy your career in management!

Look at his record in the Championship. He will eat that division for breakfast.

Sorry, MCB will demolish the league below. He might be a bit gash in the premier League (not helped by our insistence of playing like a mark 2 stoke) but he was equally the best striker in the championship when we signed him. (Joint top scorer with maupay) to say he won't do it below is delusion I'm afraid.

I don’t think him playing poorly without training and an injection is really a time to slag him off
Injection or no injection - I admire in a way your loyalty- but it's called blind loyalty I'm afraid. The folk on here who are stating the absolute bleeding obvious in that he is useless and one of the worst signings we have ever made; didn't come to this conclusion immediately.

He was given a very good long honeymoon period, we prayed he was going to come good; whilst watching last night I was begging him to prove us wrong, but sadly he can't.

WE have a centre forward that permanently looks like he's got his boots on the wrong feet, he isn't athletic, he runs with a loping annoying gait, he's weak, he can't shoot, his pressing is worse than bad.

He is a total and utter flop and I'd gladly hand him back to Swansea in January for half what he cost, I think that would actually be a decent outcome.

Why would you give a striker back who pisses goals in the championship when played the right way, when that’s where we’re headed?

& destroyed us at Oakwell

Well I saw McB twice that season and for the one at oakwell it was keiffer moore that was the stand out player. Jake Wright played in the centre of the 3 that day and we didn't win a single long ball all game that day knocked up to Moore. He brought McB into the game there is no question about that though.

The reason we lost was our ineptitude in knowing how to close a game out after going 2-1 up - we simply didn't manage the game or moore at all.

I very much doubt you will find many Scottish fans who think he should be in their team never mind squad and the few that do are probably Rangers fans (for obvious reasons).

You see this isn't united fans of which there are bound to be pros/cons - it's neutral fans.

yet to find a single neutral fan in South Yorkshire (except a few dingles fans for obvious reasons) since he's been with us that thinks he's any good AT THIS LEVEL.

General opinion seems to be players who struggle in the Premier league are only good for league one. Even the players who have proven themselves in the championship.

Mcburnie has put in good performances in this league and is still developing. He will get better. Same for alot of the young players we have signed.

You were told in very specific (footballing) terms what the problems were / are 😉.

You chose to ignore what was glaringly obvious 👀👀👀👀👀👀.

Enjoy the rewards of plenty 😡.

The majority of strikers in the championship will find it impossible to carry on from the championship into the prem

Simple fact that players in a low end prem team will get far far less chances and have to do far more donkey work

Some of our fans don’t understand that same goes for Brewster

Mcburnie & Brewster Would tear up the championship IMO

How condescending of course we understand it's easier in the Championship, but we started this season in the Prem and wanted to remain in it- we are judging McBurnie on what we are seeing right here right now- and what we are seeing is a buffoon, OK he might get a bag full in the Championship - hope he does. But right here right now we are seeing a pub footballer hopelessly out of his depth. He's hardly inspirational and off the field he's an utter jerk, I don't see your problem in us slagging him off, he's annoying 99% of the fans watching.

Mcburnie 24- proven in championship with some decent premiership performances

Brewster 20 - proven he can score in the championship

Mousset 24 - proven to be good in Premier league when fit

Burke 23 - least proven out of the lot but shown some good moments and games.

We signed these players for the long term. They would be great options for the championship and after another years development who knows.

No point in investing on youth to give up on them so quick when everyone accepts our main problems are elsewhere on the pitch.

Nice to see the Mcburnie haters are back out again

A few days ago wilder said he was out until the new year

So if anything Mcburnie deserves praise coming on when called upon when he’s clearly still injured

It's got absolutely nothing to do with hating McB for some of us.

Celtic fans hate McB where as Rangers fans don't (reasons should be obvious) - yet they ALL seem to think he shouldn't be anywhere near their team from what they quote/post when Scotland play. THIS is what some of United's fans see for themselves.

As for neutral fans round here - they all think he's rubbish.

Ah you are the voice of the majority indeed 99%, what utter bollocks you write!

mcburnie and brewster are both championship class we took a gamble on both and it hasnt paid off but dont forget chris also wanted maupay and watkins who are premier class its the financial side of things that are wrong at the lane we cannot afford to be in the premier league at the present
