Four or five Players will be leaving..

Berge. Egan, JOC, Mousett, Lunny, Maybe Fleck,

We will have the parachute money but with the assets loan to pay off that will take a big bite out of that so in January if we get an offer to at least make our Money back on Berge we need to take it.

A lot of other unknown variables,, will full stadiums be back by August? let’s hope so as ticket revenue is vital at that level, also there is the Manager’s position.. personally I would stick with Wilder, he knows the club inside out and he knows The Championship, also with a new batch of players he can perhaps throw off any differences he may be having in the dressing room with the current squad.

That is of course if CW wants to stay on, he may decide he needs a rest away from the game, if so we have to get the appointment right we can’t afford to do what we did with Robson and blow the parachute money.. I think there is a high chance The Prince would Look to appoint Van Winkle and that would be a huge gamble on a man who has never worked in England, that’s the main reason I want Wilder to stay.

Important times ahead and the planning has to start now.

I bet you couldn’t wait to write this thread out

we won't go down. we're only two wins from the fourth from bottom

Sorry, this is realistic and important, we need to make sure that Wilder knows he is going to be supported to rebuild the squad and that he doesn’t walk away.

How about taking part in sensible debate instead of handing out insults, I know that is asking a lot from the likes of meatheads like you but how about trying every once in a while?

I can't see joc leaving on the back of being injured for a year, fleck will be 30 can't really see him going either. Egan maybe, berge definitely, mousset probably.

Didn't they say this season whoever goes down won't have parachute payments

I doubt for a minute Wilder or United will sell the 6 you mentioned. It would be like starting from scratch.

I'll give you Berge and possibly one more but the aim would be to bounce back immediately, not nestle back into the Championship and reminisce about that one time we finished 9th!

They were hoping JOC fit for end of March the other day.

Plan for the championship - Keep wilder

Berge will leave 25/30 million

Keep the rest I don’t see anyone wanting fleck

If they come for Egan/JOC tell them it’s £25 Mill

Theres still the basis of a very good young squad if we go down we go down Burnley went down kept the same nucleus and came straight back up

Exactly what Norwich are doing
this season

This is sensible. We also need to think about replacing Sharp and Didsy due to age, maybe Bash too also is Macburnie suitable for our style

You ask me not to be insulting whilst being insulting yourself. Great stuff.

There’s 28 games left. Have you given up?
You see us winning 10 and drawing 4 of those 28 form here? Really? There comes a time when you have to be realistic.

We have moose/Brewster/Burke/Mcburnie who would all be top championship strikers

Success is not linear and is not one way a bad 6 months out of 5 years doesn’t mean he should be sacked or is a bad manager

At the moment, no. Does that mean we can’t or won’t?

You wanted me to discuss things, maybe you could answer the question. Have you given up?

It would be much more sensible to put together a plan that would see us stay in the Premiership but then what do I know, I’m just a meathead.

Premier League. Premiership is a Rugby competition

I don’t think Mousett would be up Championship football, not convinced by McBurnie at all

Thanks.

Maybe you could now engage in sensible debate? Care to answer the question?

Theres is no plan from here to stay up that in the real world can be implemented. That ship has now sailed. We only have about 1 or 2 winnable games from now until the JTW. Even if we pull those off 7 points is not enough to risk the huge spend it requires to win eight and draw 4 from that point. Far better to reserve that money for a tilt at promotion in the next couple of seasons.

All of the games are winnable. The fact that you think otherwise says a lot. I really hope that the players have more backbone than you’re demonstrating

So you’ve given up on this season completely? With 28 games to go.

We’re down, no coming back now. Berge will want out and command decent money. JoC will probably be be forced to stay due to his injury time out. Egan? Maybe but it wouldn’t be to a big club so if we’re smart we’d make sure he stays. I’d can McBurnie even though, after the pish he’s served up we might lose 50% of what we paid for him. He may be ok in the Championship but not in a team that plays the way we want to and he clearly isn’t up to PL standard. Mousse may want to go abroad? Time to plan for a future without Didzy and Norwood. Other than that I think we stand a good chance of bouncing straight back up IF we play with some sodding commitment. I’d back him for now but if CW genuinely has lost his mojo, he’ll be gone by this time next season.

I admire your optimism but what exactly do you think is going to change that suggests we’ll start winning. Not ”I have faith in CW etc.” Objective analysis.

If we continue to create as many chance as we are doing then we’ll start to pick up points. Our barren run in front of goal won’t continue. Whether we’ll pick up enough points to stay up is another matter. Getting out of this is going to be extremely difficult but ask yourself this, has anything ever been achieved by anyone who decided to throw the towel in early? Admitting defeat with 28 games left is crazy and is a sure fire way to ensure that defeat actually occurs.
