Can we win our mini league , consisting of ourselves, Fulham, brighton, burnley and WBA , currently we have 1 point from 1 game, with WBA away next, Fulham have 4 points from 2 games, WBA have 2 points from 3 games, Brighton have 2 points from 2 games burnley have 2 points from 2 games

No. Brighton are miles ahead of us.

To make a splash in the other 3 teams we need a 100% increase in performance levels from every squad member to even have a chance.

It is miraculous that we remain just one win away from safety.

We complain about our bad luck but of all the PL seasons to have a really shit start in, this is a brilliant one.

I've checked the stats (yes it's another quiet night in here) and in 4 of the last PL 5 seasons, after 9 games, a side on 1 point would have needed 3 wins to move out of the drop zone which is quite a significant difference.

I don't mean to say we haven't been shit, but recovery is completely doable. We just have to make goalscoring "doable".

Burnley have 2 games in hand. If they win those then it becomes a lot harder.

Of course we could win the mini league but sadly I think a change in management is needed in order to do so.
