You're right, that's a 20% difference.

I thought the very random tweet saying Brooks value was £35m; seemed about right, considering he was injured last season. I'm only basing all my posts on a bit of logic and common sense though. Some might say guesswork!
 
I have just been to club shop. In the car park was a very nice Audi R8. 70 plate in white. Looked amazing.

I'm not saying it was DB's car. But it'd be nice, wouldn't it?
 
Both the Star and ExaminerLive have posted "articles" this afternoon saying it's incredibly unlikely we'll sign Brooks.

Pffffft.
 
There has been no credible tier of source that has suggested this is remotely likely. Not even the Tier 5s have suggested it’s on. It feels like one off-the-cuff Wilder comment has fuelled this entire rumour.

That Hemmingham piece is a copy and paste of the one last week, isn't it? Lazy journalism if I ever I saw it! Basically he doesn't know and is hedging his bets.

People do keep posting the same information - that there is no credible source and it won't happen! Still we keep pressing on...😁😁
 

I am guilty of a lot of speculation in this thread. But I maintain I'm making sense.

P.S. There have been a few tweets from Tier 5 about us and Brooks. Then a debateably higher Tier source this morning (Fourth Official?).

Not only would Brooks not want a season in the second tier.... He definitely wouldn't want it in a European Championship season.

No real suggestion he's going to any other team, with only 30 hours left of the window... Clocks ticking...
