If only we could have merged his attacking output with everything else of Baldock's... we'd have had some player.
Some great memories of K Freeman, in particular the last minute winner on New Year's Eve. It triggered a post match jager binge with me & my pals in Sheff... it resulted in me being late to a party that night, not making it to midnight & being roundly bollocked the next day.
Potential question marks over his attitude at times. He seemed a moody type & would often be drawn to our more disruptive dressing room characters (pre-Wilder).
At Championship level, he never seemed to be the fittest and would tire late in games. When this happened his defensive work would suffer as he couldn't get out fast enough to close down crosses.
From memory, diagonal cross-field passes could also catch him out of position occasionally.
Going forwards, exceptional. Great finishing instincts, good for a goal and a great eye for a pass. He always seemed to play dangerous low balls into the box (often assisting Billy).
His final third decision making really is excellent (I'm hoping Bogle can provide similar).
I'd say for any side operating with wing backs at Championship level & below he'd be an asset.
As an out & out full back, bottom end Championship to high end League 1.
