Just read on the BBC sport website. Asenhole v The Blades 3rd October fans might be allowed.
Good will away fans be allowed in. probably not though.

Are you actually being serious ?
Of course they wont
Probably no away fans all season

You are correct sir.
The government has urged sky bt etc to show all games live. until supporters can return.
Let's hope common sense prevails.

Sky plus BT subscriptions will cost me more than our families season tickets. :(

According to the Telegraph this morning we are one of a few premiership clubs who have sold season tickets ?.
This is news on me as we had publicized prices but not publicized when they were on sale, have I missed something or is the telegraph wrong ?
Dont recall anything being announced.

Be no chance of away fans sadly it is a waste of time only letting a few in anyway might as well just keep it behind closed doors till it is safe to bring back full crowds.

Correct me if I am wrong. Virgin Media has both Sky sport and bt sport £70 per month.far too expensive for me.
You get movies music and kids channels..now if virgin media offer a sports channel alone for a much lower cost.
Maybe £40.00 a month.they would attract many people who only wants the sports channels. and Freeview,

I'll be going to Sheffield Fc and Hallam games untill im allowed back at the Lane with none of this utter tripe going on. I'd rather be stood in the pissing rain with a pint in my hand shouting at the players, this is football. Not sat miles away from other supporters with rules in a soulless environment. Thats not football and i wouldn't enjoy it.

Good luck getting to Hallam. Their capacity for a preseason friendly was 150 tickets, sold in advance. Season tickets are going on sale and they get first pick too.

Haven't seen what Sheffield FC are doing.

We were discussing this yesterday and United with say 20k ST holders have a logistical problem keeping fans happy, what about at S6 where they have 1.2m ST holders and rising.

Stocksbridge have tagged us in this Tweet if anyone wants to head up that way to watch some football:

Well if not there anywhere I can get a ticket.

Aye sorry pal, we're all sorted, can't wait to be back dahn't Lane wi' everyone else. Sorry you missed out mate there's always the telly 👍

Following on from the Arsenal away news, our game at Liverpool looks set for the same. Also, seems like they are going down the ballot route to distribute them. 500 away fans apparently included in this too.

Just heard on news, that theatres will be able to open without social distancing so surely we will be back at the lane sooner than expected

I truly don't see fans back in grounds in October, apparently there was a charity match attended by 300 near Sunderland 30+ tested positive rest contacted told to isolate.

There might not be any football in October never mind limited crowds..... Its them young un's.... Can't get em off each other.... Easier to get midgets off a fag machine than it is to get young uns to socially distance.... 😂

With deaths down to single figures, and the virus becoming weaker (going on deaths to infections ratio), I think the ground should open fully.
Masks on I suppose on the concourse.
Scared fans stay away.

If it was the other way round where us old uns were safe from covid but the 40s and under were most at risk of dying , would they carry on in the same carefree way? Would they fuck. They would be crawling under the nearest stone.

Assuming we are on the same track, slightly behind France and Spain, hospital cases and then an increase in deaths are probs 6 weeks away.

Saturday.

Aberdeen.
Aberdeen have also confirmed the 300 places will be allocated after a ballot of the first 7,500 fans who bought season tickets. The club will also aim to "ensure a spread of different size groups and ages".

Ross County.
County will also run a ballot of season-ticket holders who are Staggies Army members.

Deaths 32 today and govt in panic mode again, I feel this winter will be games without fans.

Where are you getting this info from?
Ignore the fear mongering media and check the actual official statistics on the worldometer.com site.
Both countries are testing far more cases and guess what...they are finding more positive tests....it shouldn’t be a surprise.

France is currently having an explosion in positive tests but the death rate is still very low averaging about 20 deaths a day.
Spain did see an explosion in positive tests but it’s now drastically on the way down.
They did see a noticeable (slightly concerning) increase in the death rate but nothing too alarming averaging about 60 deaths per day.

Back in April France was seeing over 1000 deaths a day and Spain was witnessing deaths of 750 a day,...so it’s well below those numbers.

Said it many times....it’s all about perspective...staying calm and studying the facts trying to use logic.
The media know that bad news sells...they love to over react.....everything is exagerrated....and many in the public are swallowing it.

Regards our matches I expect there to be 5 to 8000 this side of Christmas and maybe 10 to 15,000 max after Christmas.
The season after should be much better BUT I feel stadium capping with some social will become permanent.
I really believe our new capacity for the next 5 years will be 25,000.....no more 30K plus crowds.

This is the truth. Young people acting like twats will keep the grounds closed as cases eventually lead to illness and then deaths.

There is no weak strain of this. Many young people get it but are barely affected but pass it on, eventually it passes on to more cautious older people and then the hospitalisations and deaths start and we all get locked down again.

FFS - socially distance, wear a mask, wash your hands and we might get a crowd in the ground again pretty soon.
