Are Leeds after all our supposed targets?

Ollie Watkins
Emmanuelle Dennis
John Swift
Matty Cash

If it’s not Leeds it’s bloody Villa😩

Indeed if Villa carry on they will quickly be in FFP breaking territory...………………...shame

We're no after Cavani, David, Buendia or Ibrahimovic though, so equals out.

I really hope Villa are after all those players as none are defenders and their defence is shite. I think they are nailed on to go down this year. Their only decent player, Grealish, will go and they will be worse than they were rhis year.

Heard a rumour they where after rotherhams tea lady .willing to pay a good price as well

I know some players fit specific roles but, generally speaking, it would be weird if we thought a player were good enough for us and Leeds and Villa had no interest in them.

I suppose our biggest selling point has to be Wilder himself. He has to sell his future vision of SUFC to potential players. Although Bielsa and Leeds have many admirers, I think his inability to speak the lingo and his “fly by night” record might put a few people off.

If Villa are after them they must be shit.......Let them piss another £100M+ up the wall

Leeds and Villa are cunts!
If what you say is correct, I have just realised Leeds and Villa are amongst the centre of my desires. That's a shock, didn't realise either were all that useful.

No there are nice ones and horrible ones, leeds and villa are both horrible cunts, you stick to the nice ones.
Haha! This is for a whole other thread which would probably be deleted quicker than a political/racial/Ched Evans revival thread. And I know I'm tired after the school boy error I made earlier but the thought of it (the thread) still made me laugh. I should go to bed now.

Bit like beer then, no bad ones just some are better than others. thanks father I'll bear that in mind. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah must be mi birthday, oh Christ our Gert's gonna ring mi neck.
Sorry about that just an old man dreaming.
Leeds all my life have walked the line and on many occasions overstepped it. One occasion mid fifties their stand burnt down, midweek, no one injured. During a family conversation this was broached and my Grandfather immediately said "not the first time", so they've been at it a long time and that's without mentioning the don.
Villa on the other hand seem to have had it over Blades for many a year, but as far as underhand dealings I'm not too sure. One of the first Villa experiences for me was in the 50's. They hade just bought Jackie Sewell off We*n)s$&£', could have been a record fee. Sewell's first game was at the Lane . Blades 1 Villa 3. Scorers for Villa, Sewell and a Derek Pace 2. My introduction to the 'Doc'
Despite this two pluses for me. First when they beat Manure '57 FACF, nobody gave 'em a cat in hells chance. Controversial maybe but 'The Babes' were a class above the rest. Rodger Byrne was the one I watched, 'Big Dunc', Eddie Coleman etc. all class players with a spirit akin to the one presently at the Lane.
Second when they lifted the European Cup. English club, manager, believe all British players, was well pleased for them at the time, and they deserved the win.
You'll have to edificate me on their more scurrilous dealings.

I don’t think Villa are exactly an attractive proposition staying up by the skin of their teeth , lot been said about Leeds without nobody knowing what financial clout they have or will want to use , Bielsa seems to be similar to Wilder in keeping his core players and I can’t see them making wholesale changes . The ‘problem ‘ both us and Leeds may have is attracting certain players that want regular first team football and aren’t happy with being a squad member.

What? You wouldn't fancy being coached every day by John Terry and now Craig Shakespeare (who is apparently a full weighter)?

Wendy signed Sewell from Notts County for £34,500 in March 1951 which broke the transfer fee record. Before that Wendy (in relegation trouble) tried to sign 33 year old Jimmy Hagan for a similar fee but Hagan refused to join them. Despite signing Sewell, Wendy still went down.

In December 1955 Sewell joined Villa for £20,000

For that alone he warrants a statue outside the ground.
