Apologies if I've missed this somewhere but have Boro extended his loan past June? If not will he return to us and be eligible to play?

Can't see him playing for us, as we all know hugely talented but don't see the off the ball work ethic he just seems to drift along until the game comes to him.

IF our European chances evaporates (hope not of course) and we focus just on the cup and he's eligible to play, I'd offer a short term extension and give him a real opportunity.

The pressure will be off him and he can play with freedom etc.

The fact he's not even made the bench this season and Tufty has let him go out on loan, tells you all you need to know about how this lad has trained, his attitude and as a result, Tufty's opinion.

Sad as he's just the type of player we need right now to give us a spark.

Anyone know where we can find a creative No 10 who has a track record of coming on as a sub and changing the direction of games?!?!?

Mark Duffy?

One question FM - why?
CW obviously feels he's not good enough and he's currently struggling to get into the Boro side.
We all love a fairytale but I think Morrison realistically blew his chance of having one in all those years when his attitude was less than perfect.
Unfortunately, I could see him playing in L1 or even lower next season.

I don't think it was because Wilder felt he was not good enough, or else he would have never signed him back in July. He just didn't fit into our system and our midfield so was good and never had injuries or suspensions or lost form so he never got a look in.

My thoughts are that he offers something different, and has never had a chance with a run of games. If he did perhaps we could get that fairytale, if not he'll be off to play in the Uzbekistan second division next season.

Fair enough but I'm not sure why you feel he may fit into the miss system now when he hasn't previously.
Freeman is miles ahead of him in terms of ability, attitude and, it would appear, how CW rates them and he's struggling to get a game.

No. I think the cup game highlighted what is up with Morrison if it was 20 years ago he'd get away with it but now every player has to be in the game for 90+ minutes.

Played no worse than Berge did in the cup game.

Not at all saying he's the answer to our 'problems' or even that he should play just asking is he available and would he worth considering? Completely understand if people feel that he shouldn't/won't, I just feel he offers something different.

Another poor signing by the recruitment team.

I don't think they expected anything to come from this signing, I didn't. It was a lick of the brass ring for Morrison and once again he failed to take it.

They didn’t expect anything from this signing? That’s a very strange signing indeed.

He’s not registered for our squad, so wouldn’t be able to feature even if for some reason we wanted to play him.

Numerous clubs as a pro (I've checked it's 6 he could make a name with) what were our coaches going to do that hadn't been done before?
But if they could've you'd have a game changer. Lot's of people gamble all the time and lose but it doesn't stop them doing it.

Still on loan at boro isn't he or is he back he only had contract for a year that will run out soon.

On the naughty step .

The biggest mystery is why anyone expected anything from this signing in the first place, including the management team. How much clearer could it be that the lad doesn't have what it takes to be a professional footballer?

If he wasn't registered in our squad in January he wont be able to play, so it's either giving him a new contract for next season or getting shut, my bet is on the latter

If we gave him a 2 month contract would we be able to register him?

All I'm going on is Aston villa couldn't play heaton and wesley because they didn't register them in their squad in January because they thought they were going to be out for the season instead they registered 2 loans

That's outrageous for Villa :O for us definitely not as this would be a loophole I suppose if we could play it, but seems like we can't anyway.

I think there's a point that we could do with a player like Morrison in our squad if you know what I mean
