I think it was about the first time we'd seen him. We were 2-0 down when he was subbed on and he changed the game. From memory he made the first and scored the equaliser. I remember it feeling like a win as we'd been nowhere near Donny till Ironside came on. I really thought we'd found a diamond after that game. Now he's at Macclesfield .

Remember watching Jags away at Forest in his early days with us. He played central midfield and was poor at best. Once he found his natural position at centre half he was a revelation. Good cover at right back as well.

He was a decent goalie to.
