Just out of interest have all us Blades fallen out with the Sheffield Football Forum.I for one have I wondered if any more blades have.There seems to be less and less of us on there recently .I do not think there is a thread on there for tomorrows game which is strange 24 hrs before the match.It seems it is all piggies on there now which is not surprising the way the mods seem to target blades fans and not them.I used to be on regular but fell out with it just wondered if others feel the same

Do you mean the football section of the Sheffield Forum? If so people don't post there because its over moderated, mostly Wednesday fans who post and anyone half interesting has been banned.

I go on sometimes as you may recognise from my username. I have been banned at least 3 times for not very much. I am on "permanent probation" following my last ban. I have seen many of both sets of supporters banned over the years. For the most part it's just not worth the effort, banter is not allowed except in it's mildest form and any sort of insult results in the post being removed and a possible ban. The most prolific mod in the footy section is a plastic pig.
Been there, done that, not really interested anymore.

To be clear, the OP is referring to the "Sheffield Football" section of the Sheffield Forum.

As with the rest of the Sheffield Forum, it is over-moderated as some have already said. I have posted on there myself in the past and at one stage I suggested that some of the folks should visit the South Yorkshire Football Forum, if they wanted to have friendly banter about Sheffield Football, without the officious moderation. https://southyorksfooty.proboards.com

As a result, I got a warning for spamming people! Even though it was just a suggestion on an open forum.

I despise the Sheffield Forum because of the moderation. It could be so good, but the moderators on there are so officious, it makes me wonder what kind of lives they lead? Little Hitlers, looking to jump on absolutely anything and handing out warnings like Smarties.

Same here .I posted something which they took as insulting and before I could post again i had to lick someones arse which like you; I did not even open the warning message .That was about 5 months ago and I have not been on it since.I do read some of the comments on it without logging in and there are very few Blades on it now .I wonder if the moderates have noticed that Blades seem to be telling them to stuff it.

There was a poster on there (SF) that had a liking to Asparagus he was a proper tool always running to the mods if you ever questioned what he posted. Think his name was Rich or summat. Not been on for years. UTB

I think one of the main Blades on there is a mod and I have noticed he is contributing more and more than he used to .May be he thinks he should because without him there would be little if any posts from Blades fans.This is different to what it used to be I think like me a lot of Blades have thought it to be more trouble than it is worth so you lot are going to have to put up with me.

I still wind up the pigs occasionally on there. The few good ones have all left, the ones still on there have to keep changing their profile names to cover up from past mistakes.

One of them used to post as "Bash Street", when we were promoted, he said he couldn't wait for this season, to see us battered every week, and relegated on a record low points. He will post under a different name now.
