Outgoing? Fleck and Baldock?

I can't see them coming in for Fleck at 29 this summer, he'd cost them maybe as much as £25m, certainly £20m. For that price they could get someone younger from France or somewhere else abroad. I might be wrong, Fleck has certainly impressed this season, deffo one of the better players in the Prem in the middle, but I still think he's not likely to be their top priority.

Baldock is similar at 27 this spring and would cost £25m ish, I would guess. We shouldn't panic because even if they do leave, Wilder has proven time and time again how good he has done in the transfer market. That's not to say that I am ok with both leaving but it shows just how well our players are playing when our players are linked with Arsenal. Not that long ago we lost our best players to the likes of Birmingham - Marcelo, Holdsworth and Barnsley - Jan Aage.

It’s O’Rourke, that some treat as gospel for some reason.

So Arteta has, since Saturday, has suddenly set as his transfer targets for the summer, and presumably made this information aware to people immediately too. It was also one of Baldock’s more average games, so the idea the Arsenal manager was blown away by that is fanciful.

The price of success I am afraid .... Wilder signing a new contract has helped 100% BUT if Arsenal come knocking with 'silly' wages ... we need to up our wage structure to keep them .... which then will see others wanting parity ....... again the price of success.

Read another story 20m for fleck. How much would it cost to replace him? Or is that what freeman is for?
 
Pete O'Rourke is officially fucking shite now. Shame as in the championship he was pretty damn spot on and was most reliable source outside of the Great RC.

I know full well it’s how we replace is not easy ....

My main point is nobody in this world or the next are paying £50 million for them ...much as I admire then both ...

We don't need to sell, so can afford to quote ridiculous prices. Like Brighton have wanting 40m for Lewis Dunk.

Just guessing obviously re fees but in today's market, yeah I reckon both would be £20m plus, probably Baldock the more expensive solely because he's younger. I'd not want to lose either though, even for that money, but I'm sure if we lost key players Wilder would sign some good replacements but it doesn't always work that a new signing hits the heights of the player he's come into replace, certainly not always in the short term. It often takes a season or so.
 
I had a terrible night's sleep last night and I never usually remember my dreams, but I do remember a very vivid dream that Fleck went to Leicester for £14m 🤔
