IF IT HITS THE REF IT`S A DROP BALL

Makes you wonder what had happened if Fleck ignored the refs position and steamed towards the ball fouling the ref.
If the ref is rolling around injured on the ground then surely play would have been stopped....and Man City wouldn’t have scored.
However would Fleck have been booked for fouling the ref?
His argument would be the ref shouldn’t have been in the way. Not sure what the rules say.

Interesting as I think in hindsight Fleck would have pushed him out of the way. The ref would have been embarrased to be in the way and played on. I think Fleck regrets being too nice. Even if he knocks the ref over - the game stops. Probably a bit naive on Fleck's part but we are too nice at times.

To me, it looks like the ref tried to dummy it but Fleck put his foot through his legs and passed the ball to the albino. Daft of Fleck really, he should probably know that rule about the drop ball if it hits the Manchester palyer in the black outfit.

Anyway, when your lucks not in, its not in. We just had an "off day" 😂

Going forward we need to score when the ref blows for offside and flatten the ref if he gets in the way.

Send it all to the VAR wankers.

Amazing how it seems that it's always us when it comes to the controversial decisions. We seem to be the guinea pigs to find faults with how the laws of the game and VAR interact.

And Fleck gets sent off and receives a long ban for handling an official.

Probably not the worst suggestion that I have ever seen, but not far off it.

Reminded me of when the ref took Tongue out in the cup semi, Liverpool i think or arsenal he let play go on cause that’s the rule then as it is now
A bit like the time that Poll took Tonge out in the semi against Arsenal at Old Trafford?

You know the tune "When the ball hits the ref it's not Norwood to Fleck it's a drop ball".
To be fair the ref played a dummy and then acted like one.
