Mills says that Pellegrini will not have been impressed with how his players failed to capitalise on their domination in front of their home.

Mills told Football Insider: “Sometimes you get games like that, don’t you? Manchester City versus Tottenham at the start of the season, dominated, created so many chances to put the ball in the back of the net.

“It can happen in football and sometimes as a manager you’re left there on the sidelines, tearing your hair out, wondering how on earth that happened and that was probably one of those games"

In other words, "I haven't seen the match and I can't be bothered to watch any of it either. But I have read that West Ham had 61% possession and that's more than enough evidence for me to pass judgement on what type of match it was"

Does anyone really care if they slag us off..... We all know how we play and what we can do to teams....... The best in Europe have been here and I'm guessing on there way home thinking how fu c. King good are Sheffield utd...... The return game at anfield they will be well up for it like a big European night

Get ready next season because no team in this league will underestimate us when we finish mid table at worst

Danny Mills is waging a one man war against us.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, he still hasn't forgiven us for knocking Leeds out of both cups in 2003 😂 😂 😂

He's got one "hook" to get him noticed, saying outlandish shit that makes him stand out. Zig when they zag etc. If we go on a bad run he can look smug, if we don't he'll just move onto a different soap box.

Leave him to it. Points >>>>>Praise

Interesting that despite their early domination, we carved out the best chances before they scored.

Not that interested in what Mills thinks. He's already written us off and will continue to do so. Once we get to understand that there are certain pundits that talk perennial shite then it's easy to ignore.

There are pundits out there who actually talk sense. I do think though there are a section of fans who will instantly target pundits for talking shite even when some of their criticisms may be justified. There are of course the likes of Crooks and Mills who bumble their way through broadcasts making shit up without thinking.

Even Clinton Morrison, as daft as he sounds, has given us praise this year. I think we are certainly getting more positive than negative headlines at the moment and have definitely changed a few perceptions since the start of the season. Which makes it even better when Crooks and Mills continue persist with their misguided opinions about us.

I’d imagine both Crooks and Mills Google their own names several times a day and their ego’s are very upset over comments suggesting that they are probably the two most overpaid useless lazy commentators out there. Pair of shithouses.

Remind me what the pundits were saying about our performance/result against Liverpool when the possession was 70% in the Scousers favour.

Maybe I see things differently, but I like it when these so called 'experts' write us off. It shows we're still under the radar and able to capitalize on others either not preparing or thinking we're still all about pashun.

Believe me, it's going to be a lot harder once we're no longer a surprise package!

You‘re running out of pundits to hate. Every week after MOTD there’s one of you kicking off about summat.

Always easier to pick up issues when you're a complete neutral with no interest or investment in a league or its highlights show. So Wednesday fans should be in a perfect position to judge the content on MotD or anything to do with the Premier League

I don’t give a monkeys about what Mills says. He has shown himself to be totally incompetent as a pundit and the more he writes us off the better as far as I am concerned. There are plenty of pundits who know their job and have reported our games and play fairly and with authority. Don’t give Mills anymore of the oxygen of publicity.

Only watch it on replay when I hear the bleating. Sat night watching telly, feck that.

Re Danny Mills. I really can’t understand the appeal of the man. Yet he’s a regular on both Sky and TalkSPORT. He’s not the most “glamorous” pundit and what he has to say isn’t particularly insightful either.

Mills is getting his own back on me. I take it personally because I gave him plenty of grief whenever he rocked up at the lane, mainly for being a very average footballer who had to rely on dirty tactics to get him through a game.

Unfortunately for him he’s actually a worse pundit than he was a footballer and that takes some doing in his case

The good news is that the opposition managers will have worked out the bullshit sometimes towards the end of last season so they are as prepared now as they will be all season.

These are some of the best managers in the world and the resources they have to prepare are almost endless. So far we have stopped them from executing what will be very well thought through plans. Our problems may start if someone works out a way to make us look poor. Then everyone will pile on

Other fans and pundits views mean shit.

Someone should tot up by end of season how many matches we won because "the opposition didnt play 100% well"

Crowd the last third with all but 2 or 3 of your players and then a punt upfield and then all out attack from your set pieces?

Do you’re stuck in a time warp of 30 years ago, thinking Wednesday are decent, and also in thinking we play like that. At least you’re consistent.

Maybe you should enlighten us on the pigs tactics on how to win promotion from the championship. We are all ears and let’s be honest you’ve had plenty of practice
