Would I drunk drive? Absolutely not, but would I unintentionally drive fractionally over, very possibly.

I don't necessarily think it's that. That implies some level of jealousy and I find it difficult to believe there are that many people going round with a chip on their shoulder because all these footballers they watch make shitloads more money than they do (personally speaking, I could never be jealous of some of the fucking horrendous gear McBurnie chooses to purchase...Gucci sliders, anyone?)

I do however think that, either consciously or subconsciously, people assign an amount of leeway in their minds as to what certain players should or shouldn't 'get away with' depending on how well they've been playing for their club. The difference between 'silly boy...he'll learn' and 'fuckin gerrim out of my club' for some is a few goals and some decent performances.

Everyone's whiter than white when it comes to drink driving it seems, right?
You've never got in a car after a session and drove home (cunts trick admittedly) so you've never been over the limit, right? Wrong.
Look at this chart and tell me if you follow that the morning, or in some cases the afternoon after you've had a drink?

If you've had a few in the house on a random Tuesday night and drove the morning after to work, you've probably been over the limit.
If you've had a skinful with the lads after the footy on a saturday then took the kids to Sunday league the day after, you've probably been over the limit.
If you've been out on Christmas Eve and drove to your parents Christmas Day morning you've probably been over the limit.
You catch my drift...

Driving whilst over the limit is a cunts trick. Be it just over, morning after, Dean Saunders or full on Derby County! And before I am accused of being being holier than thou, I admit I probably am being so. But then again, when younger than OMcB station in Cyprus, I was thrown out the back window of a car and was stopped going through a shop window by a tree! And for the last 30 years have a scar that does a good impersonation of a track map of Sheffield Midland. All because the driver was pissed.
That said, it’s unbelievable that people want him, metaphorically, burnt at the steak and kicked out of the club. He’s young, very lucky he didn’t hurt anyone or himself. The justice system will deal with him as will, I suspect, Utd in no uncertain terms.

But everyone should get a second chance surely, or do we condemn him as a cunt forever!

You can buy a breathyliser from most car spares or off the ineternet. You are required to carry two if you drive in France so they could bring that system in here.
