The old buggers will remember this!

I wish we'd play this as we used to do in the 70's....the words sum it up and may stand us in good stead this season.

Aim for the stars but expect a little rain! This song still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.....10 year old stood on the Kop!

Im sure the youth could put out a grime version for you

A favourite pastime of mine when well-oiled on a Saturday night is to play music videos off Youtube on the telly. VJing if you like.

More often than not, this one gets played (and sung along to by most people present)😂

Rose Garden was played when away team ran out , followed by Ilkley Moor when The Blades ran out a minute or so afterwards.

None of your shitey presentation of the teams nonsense back in the day , just stub your fag out and get on with it.

🍾🎆Anyone got a fooking time machine , I wana go back to this time ! 🌠🍾

I remember it well. It was supposed to bring us good luck.

Did we ever lose a match when that was played?

I even went to see a film of the same name, or something similar, at Studio 7 based on that. Not be recommended.

Went to Newcastle 1961 6th round FA cup, there was a mix up with our tickets and we were on their kop !!!! we won 3-1 Billy Russel got all 3.. All the Blades fans were on our left and they sang Ilkley moor all the way through it, it sounded bloody grand...….

I met Billy and his wife on a train after a Blades game about 4 or 5 years ago. They’d been a guest of the Club at the game. His wife saw my shirt and very proudly told me who he was and quickly mentioned his hat trick! Billy let her do the talking! Lovely couple - hope they’re still OK.

Once a Blade...

That song evokes memories of the sweet smell of pipe tobacco.
