It allows clubs like Brentford to send staff/directors/players to sites like ours to peddle their over-hyped goods. They can keep their dignity while begging for bids.

What some people on here don't seem to appreciate is that it's kinda hard to prove a negative, but it's dead easy to disprove one.

So when Banana posts consistently that there has been "No bid" from SU, he's leaving himself wide open to getting egg on his face at any moment, when eg a deal goes through.

Meanwhile, Richard Cadette has related a succession of positives (fee agreed, now just down to the player etc), yet none of these have as yet been proven eg by a simple announcement. From anyone.

There’s really no need to torment yourself any further on this matter. He’ll either be 3 weeks away from full fitness playing for another PL side next year or struggling to hit the same heights for you next year as he’s unfit.
