So one could argue that selling Brooke’s has brought in 130 million inside 18 months.

One could, but one would quickly be shot down by the drooling agenda driven anti-Kevs.

The experts on here already decided that a 20 year old kid with just a handful of Championship starts and a few goals was going to be worth £50-60m and so we should have held on to him.

Once again topplayersleft and look what happened to us.....

Pre drinks it will be mussy, few hours later it will be Luton Shelton
I wonder what Gary Sinclair will refer to him as? He's always an interesting one to listen out for on the old nickname front.

Think you could be on to something with Mussy.

Coops, how do you compile an ignore list? in fact am I on yours?

Click on the avatar of the person who has just posted something like "losing to Burton just shows how far behind we are. Should've done our business earlier. Villa would've hammered them. I fear for us next season" and then press the Ignore button.

It's a brilliant, and very necessary, feature.

23 y.o. Shown great promise putting away 14 in 34 between the ages of 18-20 in Ligue 2, good potential i guess... Looks like Bournemouth took a punt and it's not quite come off for him so far. What worries me is how quick this transfer appears to have gone through and £10m seems a lot... £7m maybe... but to say we've allegedly baulked over £5m more for Maupay/McB... I'd rather have 1 class player than a few decent punts among the squad. Here's hoping we get McB now!!!!

New taxi rank to be marked out on Shoreham Street for anybody trying to start chants of "The Moose, The Moose, the Moose is on fire".

If this signing comes to pass we will have signed 2 players who by all accounts are supremely talented but for one reason or another haven't fulfilled that talent, if wilder and his team can get just one of these lads firing then not only has our premiership safety has been boosted but the combined outlay totaling 10 million for both players will seem like chicken feed, but unfortunately that "if" is quite large at the moment, but fortunately a wilder "if" is significantly smaller than any other managers "if", however my concern is that if he gets them both up and running Wilders stock will increase to such an extent that the uber football clubs will come knocking, but exciting times nonetheless.

I think I could score 3 in 57. (As long as I was on penalty duty!)

Give me 5 million Chris and I’m all yours.

Cant wait for the 'inspired' nicknames
Mis hit
Must be shit
Museless

Shitwell.

It's at least great to see that we're not neglecting pace, skill and flair.

It's exactly what we were lacking for PL level and Wilder's been true to his word bringing these types in.

So he has 1 year left on his contract, hardly played a full game for Bournemouth, scored 3 goals and they paid 7m for him 3 years ago. What makes him worth 10m?
The crazy market

But I suspect that deal is very much based on a number of variables and add ons, the upfront payment will probably be about £5/6mil I'd say

The current market and what Bournemouth are asking for... and we're willing to pay.

But, it's early days and like everyone has said, it won't be a lump sum 10m.

Ranked behind King and Wilson, but in my opinion very closely, young with speed and skill. Think CW & co've done it again. Maybe Maupay coming with a fellow french on board. Excited!!!!!!!!!!

its worrying signing I would've preferred mcburnie don't get the fuss on maupay theres no guarantee that wouldn't be a 1 season wonder. but cant forget that we did just sign madine in January who had 0 goals in 18 games. we just got to have confidence in wilder don't mind admitting albeit in League 1, I hadnt heard of half the players we bought & most of them turned out all right

Football inflation and the fact that he shows flashes (although rare) of being a 40 million player.
Wilder thinks he can get him producing those 40 million flashes more often, it all depends how a player is used within a team framework.

How can you say that about Maupay but say you would've preferred McBurnie?
McBurnie has only done it for one full season as well.

I'm just going to say i must give credit to a Bournemouth fan from the other year when we sold Brooks to them. I can't remember where i saw the comment but he/she said that Mousset could be going the other way (to Utd) at some point. Just called it a year or so too soon i guess. But credit where it's due. On a personal note, i'm looking forward to this signing if it happens, as i've seen a couple of comments from their fans say he's a good prospect but never really given game time due to the players they have. Most of his appearances have come off the bench. Should be an interesting one.
