It’s all semantics though to my mind.

If there discussions with the player re terms the fee won’t be that far away. There may be some minor tweaks to language / terms etc but my guess (and it is only that) is there’s a deal in principle that all three parties are broadly agreed on. We’re not gonna got through that and deal with the agent to turn round and bid £8m or something stupid.

My guess is that more than one team have matched the offer so NM is going to take some time and make a decision on where he wants to be.

I’m not Foolish enough to suggest that will be us over more established clubs. My feeling is we’ve probably had an indication he’s picked one of the other offers so we’ve ramped up our interest in Mcburnie since the weekend.

P.S. It's not BFC's usual policy to price players so unrealistically high that they don't eventually move. Unless it's WHU, who seem to think other clubs should be paying them to take players off their hands.
